Buying a used Cayenne30 Aug 2006 00:06 GMT3
I'm considering a 2nd hand purchase of a Cayenne S in the UK.
I'm going to have a look at a couple tomorrow. Apart for the very obvious
things like a full Porsche service history, any tips on what I should look
out for?
The INFAMOUS WCV 91129 Aug 2006 18:19 GMT1
Does anyone know what ever happened to the infamous WCV 911??
It was a poor '67 911 or 912 depending on the story, that was butchered by Renegade Hybrids, somewhat repaired by WCV
(west coast vintage) mechanics, driven on the Hot Rod Power Tour and then it was sold.  'Posed to be ...

Hi, I'm considering buying a first generation Boxster - probably one with

Valve stem caps and tire balance18 Aug 2006 01:48 GMT5
I just purchased valve stem caps with the Porsche logo which I noticed
weigh more than the plastic ones that were previously on the tires.  Do
I need to be worried about the tire balance being thrown off?

1990 Porsche 944 cabriolet
I've been trying to track down this problem for a while.  I have a
radar detector that also outputs battery charge (not an exact reading,
I know!).  The trend in battery output has been decidedly down, to the

1983 SC battery issue?04 Aug 2006 03:15 GMT1
New alternator put in last year.  Battery came with car and I can't
make out its date, but it's at least 4 years old.
I was away on business for 2 weeks and when I came home the engine
wouldn't crank.  It appeared I had electricity - the radio, headlights,
