V-50 package on 996TT29 Sep 2006 22:53 GMT5
I have purchased a 996TT (2002 CPO)  and expect to be picking it up from the
dealership this afternoon or tomorrow morning.  The original owner was a
Porsche enthusiast and took the car to events from time to time. It has 18k
miles on it.
3.2L stalls when cold26 Sep 2006 10:43 GMT3
I have a 3.2L motor in a 1979 SC.  When cold, the engine stalls when you
take your foot off of the accelerator, for example when you pull up at
traffic lights. Once reached normal operating temp everything is fine.
Is there a common fault, like warm up regulator or temperature ...
Which 914?25 Sep 2006 02:51 GMT9
I'd like to get some feedback on the 914. I've done some research and it
looks like a 73+ models with the improved transmission are preferred. Is
there much of a difference among the 1.7, 1.8, 2.0 engines in terms of gas

There is a Sunoco station on my way to work that sells the stuff at 7.99 per
gallon.
Flashing engine light (Porsche boxter)10 Sep 2006 04:51 GMT1
On Saturday night, on the freeway, suddenly the engine light on my
1997 porsche boxter started flashing. I know the ON engine light is
somewhat ok .. but flashing is not good, and I was just about to think
of what to do .. when the engine started sputtering.
Compare '99 911 to '01 BMW M310 Sep 2006 01:32 GMT4
Prices are similar, although the 911 is a tad more expensive, but I'm
split between the two.
I've read the M3 is more edgy and unrefined, but a blast to drive...
while the 911 is smoother and everything just seems to work perfectly
Track Day questions for Cayman09 Sep 2006 00:17 GMT5
I'm considering doing some track days with my new Cayman once it's
broken in.  The question is what tires and wheels are people using
effectively.  I also don't want to throw a lot of money at this
endeavor.  Can I use the same wheel size and offsets that are used on
1998 pass airbag disable?04 Sep 2006 18:03 GMT1
I'd like to disable the passenger-side airbag on a 98 boxster. I've heard
about a recepticle for a seatbelt-like tongue from the factory child seat,
however, I did not see such a receptacle under the seat. I did see a two-pin
electrical connector under the seat. If anyone has ...
