Advice newer Porsche Models--I sold my 924S31 Dec 2006 02:35 GMT3
I just sold my 924S and will be looking for a newer model in the spring.
I've driven the Boxster S, it drives well and has great acceleration.  I'm
looking for a 1998-2000 model.
I'm looking for recommendations on other models in the $20-25K range.  Some
Headlight Lens - Help30 Dec 2006 14:49 GMT2
Just bought an 1989 911Cab.  There is a small hole in one of the headlight
lens.  I've looked on Pelican Parts, etc. and found out that for the 1989,
you can just buy the lens itself for about $42.00 or if you buy the
assembly, which is about $190.00

Check engine light saga30 Dec 2006 00:31 GMT3
Over the past year, the check engine light on my 2000 Boxster has lit
up about 5 times resulting in trips to the dealership.  This is not
only expensive, but a pain in the a.s.  Has anyone else had a
continuous problem with the air sensors or whatever that would cause
924 fuel pump18 Dec 2006 05:38 GMT2
Have a 81 924, has been sitting for years. Just decided to get it ready for
my daughters 1st car. Both fuel pumps are seized. I remember reading
somewhere that prior to 79 only one pump was used. What is the purpose of
the internal pump? The external pump inlet is level with the ...
928 advice sought12 Dec 2006 03:19 GMT5
Went and saw a black 928 GT of 1990 earlier today. Took it for a small
spin too, around a rather populated block of flats. Felt good. The Brit
owner, who came across as someone nice and not particularly as one
trying to palm off a lemon, won't budge any lower than USD 9k.
968 of 199207 Dec 2006 01:10 GMT3
Been scouting around for a cheap and affordable old Porsche, thus the
seemingly repetitive kind of posts.
I found a silver-colored 968 in seemingly very good condition and it
carries a price tag of USD 9k (lowest price). The odo shows 60k miles
944 Service costs05 Dec 2006 19:23 GMT3
I am new to this site and wanted to get your input. I am looking to Buy
a 1990 1991 944 S2 but I am not sure what the service costs are? I also
wanted to find out what sort of things could/has gone wrong on these
cars. I went to a dealer this weekend but they told me that they had
maintenance costs for 91103 Dec 2006 00:03 GMT1
Thinking of purchasing a used 911 and am curious on the maintenance
costs.  I would probably put 20-25K miles on per year and not do any
racing but would be moderately tough on the car.  Thinking of a manual
transmission with a non turbo engine.  A standard 911 coupe or targa
