I just moved to Chicago and need to find a good mechanic.  I have a
few problems already, broken driver door handle (had to repair
passenger last year) etc... but I don't know of a trusty/affordable/
respectable mechanic here in the area.  Does anyone have any advice?

I was looking at 85-88 911 convertibles.  I do think I will end up
with one.  Would like to spend under 20K.
Anyway, I was told how great the carerra's are (better then sc)  I am
confused by the 89c4.  Seems to have a different body and a bigger

I'm participating in a PCA-sponsored drivers' education course at the
Talladega racetrack next month.  (Not racing ed, just driving ed.)  They say
I have to "put" my assigned car number on both doors and the hood, in
numbers 12 inches high and in a contrasting color.
