Engine rotational speed08 Mar 2004 12:49 GMT6
I have a 900i, 1990 model and there are some problems with the engine
rational speed. When the engine are in between cold and warm, the
rotational speed lies around 2000 and 3000 rpm. (idle running), which
is obvious too high!
Re: congratulations, welcome, what took you so long?08 Mar 2004 05:31 GMT2
Just saw an episode of "Carography" on cable t.v.
Chevrolet ran a Rochester fuel injected '57 283 c.i., 4 speed Hurst,
pre-production sedan up Pike's Peak and broke all the records for elapsed
time to the top.  I saw the amazing documentary film with my own eyes and

battery goes dead06 Mar 2004 14:28 GMT1
I have a 1988 Saab 900S.  If I don't drive it for a few days the battery
goes dead.  I had to mechanics look at it , and they could not find any
problems.  I am just wondering if it might be the rectifiers and the
alternator . that may be shorted?  How can I check this out?  I ...
'94 900 overheating06 Mar 2004 14:23 GMT10
My 900 Turbo seems to be overheating when in traffic.  I topped off the
coolant level after it was low.  I don't seem to have a leak because at
the end of a run, the level was as I left it.  When I'm moving, the
temp gauge is mid way and goes up higher as the car runs.  Do the two

1990 C900 T16-Possible bad clutch?05 Mar 2004 17:43 GMT2
Team,
When I'm driving in 1st, or 2nd gear at about 3000rpm I hear a strange, sort
of oscillating noise in the engine compartment. It sounds like a low pitched
vibration, almost like my front license plate, or maybe that heat shield

'99 9-5 rear brake pads DIY?05 Mar 2004 09:47 GMT11
My rear brake pads have announced that they feel that they need a break
(heh...), and are making grumbling noises until I do it for them.
The dealer is out (!??!?  WTF is that about?) but should have more

de-badged saab03 Mar 2004 17:37 GMT4
Somebody was definately out to de-badge my Saab, I bought it a couple of
years ago with the boot badge missing (and  nice paint scratches to
illustrate where the screw driver was wedged), now I find the coloured
plastic part on my bonnet badge has been liberated - fellow Saabers, ...
