A story of  one  death.15 Jun 2004 21:19 GMT6
I live in a small Ukrainian town. My husband-Armenian had leaved me
when I already was pregnant. I am a yard man. My salary is about $50
per month. My daughter grew up as a very nice girl in spite of our
destitution. When she was sixteen my daughter went on the lake near
Saab 9000 rear wiper15 Jun 2004 18:46 GMT4
The rear wiper on my Saab 9000 CS Aero '94 is struggling to work. The motor
runs fine without the wiper on but when attached it really struggles to pull
the blade across the glass. Ant ideas why it is struggling so much?
Also, will it fail the UK MOT if it doesn't pull across ...

This is a 94 Saab (Turbo) AERO 9000 with 125K miles.  I have replaced the
headgasket couple of weeks ago. Since then white smoke (oil burning) comes
out when the car comes to a stop or when it is starting.  The white smoke is

Washer Fluid Warning?15 Jun 2004 16:58 GMT2
Anyone know if the new 9-3's have a warning when the washer fluid gets low
(I don't have my manual handy to look it up myself)?  There's no fluid
coming out of the nozzles and they look clear of any gunk that might cause
problems.  I tried to check the reservoir, but I can't see it ...
Need Help with Alternator Replacement for 1997  900 15 Jun 2004 14:39 GMT5
Hello all, I'm new to this group and was wondering if anyone was
familiar with the replacement of an alternator in a 1997 900 2.3L
Non-turbo 4cyc. The dealership did an "AVR" test and said it was nearly
done and I have noticed my battery light coming on as well as the
grinding gears15 Jun 2004 11:26 GMT2
I have recently had my clutch replaced in my saab 900i, but over the
past few weeks the gears have been initially sticking but once I'm
driving the gears are fine.  Now I can rarely get it into gear without
grinding, and sometimes whilst driving the gears can be sticky and
Cluctch pedal adjustment?14 Jun 2004 14:54 GMT3
Just got a '97 900 Turbo with manual tranny and love the car.
However, the clutch pedal has to go ALL the way down to keep from
grinding gears.  And, the pedal is pretty hard to push in.  I know it's
a year too early for the hydraulic clutch but this is pretty stiff and

Driving home today & my 9-5 unexpectedly stalled at a junction & i couldn't
get it going at all. after a few minutes of repeatedly trying to start the

came on & stayed on for the rest of my journey home.
very interesting video, turn the volume all the way up13 Jun 2004 18:24 GMT1
Go to http://www.VideosOnWeb.com and hover your cursor over the video
in the bottom left. While it connects, turn your volume all the way up
because the sound is really low.
EDIT: No fair cheating by looking at everyone else's comments first.
Fuel Pump Replacement - '93 c90013 Jun 2004 10:54 GMT1
The fuel pump on my UK spec 1993 3 door 900 (classic shape) has failed.
Which is a pest, especially as it was 20 minutes before my daughter's
music exam!
This is not wholly unsuprising as the pump has been quite noisy in
Saabs with Pontiac Parts? Is this the end?13 Jun 2004 07:27 GMT20
I read recently that new saabs are going to contain pontiac parts, that
quality is declining and that GM isn't maintaining the integrity of SAAB
that it had before. Is this the beginning of the end?
