| replacement heater control valve (c900) | 31 Jul 2004 23:34 GMT | 3 |
I'm having a slight problem with my heater control valve: the bottom of the two plastic nipples that extend through the firewall (and into the engine compartment) has broken in half, leaving very little for the lower coolant hose to clamp onto. I think it's ok for the moment, but ...

| Strange thing... | 31 Jul 2004 18:02 GMT | 13 |
...While sauntering down the boulevard in one of the more fashionable districts around town, I espied a 2004 Chevy Malibu whose owner had outfitted it with Saab badges and a Saab grille! He even went to the trouble to put the ignition switch between the seats! Moreover, he even

I have recently upgraded my 95 2.3lpt Auto with a BSR tuning kit. The results are very impressive. The one thing I have noticed since applying the upgrade is that when accelerating, mainly in a high gear using the torque of the engine at around 3000 rpm I get a cut in the engine ...

I need to replace the cruise/turn signal on a 93 9000CSET. Is it a simple plug & play operation? Looks like 4 screws need to be removed. Are they torx? What size? Anything else I should know? Thanks.

| A New fix for Alternators on 900's | 29 Jul 2004 09:43 GMT | 4 |
Before freaking out, the alternator might be okay and it could just be the voltage regulator, this is connected to the front of the alternator via two screws and is easily removed without taking out the alternator. Once removed you can measure the length of the regulator poles (5cm ...

| 1984 900 Saloon vs C900 Hatch? Which is better.. | 28 Jul 2004 23:17 GMT | 13 |
Just picked up a cheapo 84 T16 Saloon at first just for the recon gearbox it has. Then I thought about the possibility of an engine/box swap, to turn my 89 900S into a T16, because the donor is a good runner and will also have all the APC bits to do the job right.

| Update on low turbo boost C-900T | 28 Jul 2004 11:44 GMT | 1 |
1986 900 Turbo, 16V, 236 k miles, cannot find any leak in turbo plumbing, noise is in engine compartment, not in car. I filled up with mid grade and the turbo boost went yet lower. I think the leak in turbo plumbing is not causing low boost. Leak is 3 years old, low
