One more for those knowledgeable in all matters of classic SAAB. I'll
be looking at an '80 99 Turbo (2-door, black - just what the doctor
ordered) in a couple of days. Supposedly the car is in good condition
and the pictures seem to confirm this, even discounting that all cars

The standard size is 205/55-16 on my 02 9-3. I'm interested in getting a
wider tire (as in more rubber on the pavement) on factory rims. Can I
get 215/55-16 on these rims? Is this possible? One thing I read about
increasing tire width is that the speedometer may not be as ...

When i drive for a while and stop the engine, You feel a intense heat coming
from under the car if you walk around the right side.
Is this normal?

My dealer doesn't seem to know if the car has an MP3 socket.. as far as I
could see the AERO just has the 12v socket in the console: I've orederd a
vector with the AERO sound sytem shortly to arrive.

Does anyone know where the V6 came from?  It is marked in several
places with the GM trademark.  I am wondering if it is not the Buick
V6 with some SAAB enhancements.  Also wondering if it can be replaced
with one of the larger GM V6's like the 3.1 or 3.5L?

According to all I've seen, there should be 3 wires running to my
alternator.  I have 2, I have the 2 threaded (battery, and ground)
connections, but am missing the 'slip on' flat connecting wire.  Would
this stop my voltage regulator from working?

intermittent in the beginning, but then turned into being temperature
related. At the end, I got more or less normal boost when engine was cold,

Well I had to take the Viggen in to the shop for some minor warrenty
work and while there I took a spin in the new Saabaru 9-2x Aero.
