| How to loosen crank pulley bolt on C900? | 23 Aug 2004 17:35 GMT | 2 |
I'm replacing the timing chain on my 1982 900T. I've got the engine out of the car and was doing well until I tried to remove the crank pulley bolt. It laughs at my impact wrench and attemping to turn it with a breaker bar only results in the engine turning. Is there a way to lock ...

| 9000 1989 Saab Massachusetts | 23 Aug 2004 14:44 GMT | 5 |
Does anyone know of a place that I can donate my Saab to? It has a great body but the breaks need fixing and there is an oil leak. This is an awesome car but because of the age I could not trade it. I want it to go to someone who will not sell it for parts or crush it.

| Wiring Schematic for 1987 Saab 9000 | 22 Aug 2004 23:26 GMT | 3 |
Anyone have at least a partial wiring schematic for an '87 Saab 9000? The instrument panel lights are out, and replacing the 10A fuse just blows it, even if the lights are off. So I figure I have a short somewhere else on something that is connected to

| I'm afraid the 900 has to go very soon. | 22 Aug 2004 10:50 GMT | 3 |
I didn't get a Prelude in the end, bought a Celica GT4 (4x4 turbo 200 +BHP). Got it for a bargain price considering history and condition, but now I need the space as there isn't room to park both at the house.

| Should we buy a 1999 9-5? | 22 Aug 2004 04:25 GMT | 1 |
My lady must soon replace her car that was totaled by a drunken driver last week. We have found what appears to be a very clean 1999 9-5 sedan with automatic transmission at a good price. It handles well, sounds great, and everything seems to work. I and my family have had

| Gesch in Wisconsin? | 21 Aug 2004 16:49 GMT | 3 |
I've been looking unsuccessfully for the name and phone number for Larry Gesch's independant Saab shop, somewhere near Oconomowoc, Wisconsin. Closest google can get me is "Country Motors" from a TSN posting, but it's not listed anywhere.

| '87 9000S Three Doors Won't Open | 21 Aug 2004 12:51 GMT | 1 |
Today the passanger door quit working (when trying to open it from the outside) so now I'm down to only the rear driver's side door (other than crawling in through the hatch!) to gain access (I reach in & open the driver's door from the inside) to the

| 2004 9.3 Linear, rattles coming from front middle and passenger side speakers | 20 Aug 2004 23:53 GMT | 1 |
Not even 400 miles on the car, I've heard Saabs tend to rattle a little more than the average car anyone else aware of the '04's rattling? Other than that I love this car! Picked it over a Mitsubishi Galant GTS and Acura TSX. The Saab just had way more personality.

Saluatations: I picked up part of an old thread of yours I think - you seemed to have a link to PDF to call and clear codes on a 93 9000CSE.. Any chance you still have a copy or know where it is now?
