I have just bought a  1993 9000CS Carlsson (at least thats what the badge on
the car says, the registration document does not mention the Carlsson bit at
all).

It appears that mine is going.  Car has 100K on it.  It's making a blue puff
on startup and has recently started knocking alot when the car is getting
warmed up.  The dealer said that the seals on the turbo were going and it
would need to be replaced.

I've just purchased the 9000CS turbo model and it has a few things wrong,
like the above. Accompanying it is the (apparently) noisy clock (by the way,
I don't see those for sale, assuming this one's defective at all).
The 2nd-to-3rd upshift point also seems a bit late, and so, the ...

Does anybody know if any of the fuses on the 1996 CS lpt control or affect
the turbo charger ?

I have a 2001 turbo - with a sport ?S? button - for a long time the turbo
meter did not operate unless the ?S? button was pressed and active on the
dash - now the turbo meter is always active (upon acceleration the needle
moves across the meter when the sport button is not pressed). ...

My wife's car has only 15000 miles on it and has developed a clunking sound
