Never buy S/H cars with a hangover!26 Sep 2004 17:55 GMT5
I (foolishly) bought a 1992 9000 CS Carlsson the other week (foolishly 'cos
it looks like a I bought a bit of a dog....serves me right for being in too
much of a hurry and going car hunting with a massive hangover).
The car has a rear badge and an insert on the steering wheel that ...
Leatherette door cards26 Sep 2004 00:17 GMT2
Okay, some here will know about me and my SAAB and how meticulous I am about
the thing ... No expense spared when it comes to my Orca :)
How come when you fix one thing you mess up everything else?
I've enjoyed a trouble free SAABing experience for a good number of months
I know I'll regret it but.25 Sep 2004 23:33 GMT5
My T16S is on Ebay.
If it doesn't go, I'll put it on classic insurance, and keep it until
atleast it has it next MOT.

weird windshield washer problem (c900)25 Sep 2004 23:02 GMT5
I'm experiencing a very weird problem with my 1992 900s. I drove a few hundred
miles this weekend, and the car functioned perfectly in every respect. I
especially enjoyed using my newly repaired cruise control. I parked the car as
usual last night, and went to bed a happy Saab owner ...

9000 Hazard Lights - final instalment25 Sep 2004 20:19 GMT2
Hope I'm not doing this subject to death, but I needed to give an update on
my hazard lights. May help someone else save a bit of money.
I've previously posted that cleaning the fuse seemed to fix it.
Unfortunately, this fix didn't last. Sometimes the lights worked, sometimes
rust25 Sep 2004 08:19 GMT4
Hello i've got a 91 saab 900.
It's from the nothern of sweden where they don't use salt on the roads so
it's in very nice condition rust-wise. But since i live more south it's
getting "attacked". How should i treat little rust-spots in the best
Rear brake clips..25 Sep 2004 06:02 GMT1
I just had a local shop do my rear brakes (I did the fronts) and right
after they did them they started rattling. When I took it back they said
that the clips were gone from BOTH sides. They said that they usually
see these break but since mine didn't they just put it back ...

Where is the 9-5 antenna connector for TEL1?24 Sep 2004 21:02 GMT1
I am installing a Nokia CARK-91 mobile phone kit in my SAAB 9-5 model year
2004. I found the multipin connector wrapped up on the left side behind the
radio.
Now I am searching for the connector of the roof antenna cable. I can see an
NG 900 Wind Nosie24 Sep 2004 18:34 GMT1
I'd be grateful if anyone can tell me whether there is any hinge
adjustment on NG900 front doors? At high speeds, there's a lot of wind
noise from around the front door seal of our '97 Talladega.
Thanks
97 900SE: Windscreen "Humming" Noise...24 Sep 2004 18:04 GMT3
... when i drive between 65-80 mph, the windscreen makes an annoying
high-potched humming/buzzing noise. (the exact speed at which it makes the
noise seems to be dependent on how hot/humid the day is). the source of the
sound appears to be the black "tape" at center-top part of ...
9-3 SE convt chime sound upon hard cornering24 Sep 2004 15:06 GMT3
The subject states most of my question.  The 9-3 is a '00 and the chime
sound is a 'ding-dong' sort of sound.  I have searched the owners manual and
if it is addressed in that publication it is not obvious.  Any/all
enlightening responses are appreciated.  Thx.
9000 cs idle speed23 Sep 2004 21:26 GMT6
My 94 9000cs intermittently idles high as soon as it's started. The idle
doesn't go down as it warms up. What module controls the idle speed. It's a
non-turbo with DI cassette. Thanks for any advice.

How difficult is it to replace these? I just bought both fron and rear O2 sensors for my 1999 9-3S and am hoping I can install them myself since our dealer wants to charge me $850.00 for the job. Any help?
