| Never buy S/H cars with a hangover! | 26 Sep 2004 17:55 GMT | 5 |
I (foolishly) bought a 1992 9000 CS Carlsson the other week (foolishly 'cos it looks like a I bought a bit of a dog....serves me right for being in too much of a hurry and going car hunting with a massive hangover). The car has a rear badge and an insert on the steering wheel that ...

Okay, some here will know about me and my SAAB and how meticulous I am about the thing ... No expense spared when it comes to my Orca :) How come when you fix one thing you mess up everything else? I've enjoyed a trouble free SAABing experience for a good number of months

I'm experiencing a very weird problem with my 1992 900s. I drove a few hundred miles this weekend, and the car functioned perfectly in every respect. I especially enjoyed using my newly repaired cruise control. I parked the car as usual last night, and went to bed a happy Saab owner ...

| 9000 Hazard Lights - final instalment | 25 Sep 2004 20:19 GMT | 2 |
Hope I'm not doing this subject to death, but I needed to give an update on my hazard lights. May help someone else save a bit of money. I've previously posted that cleaning the fuse seemed to fix it. Unfortunately, this fix didn't last. Sometimes the lights worked, sometimes

| 97 900SE: Windscreen "Humming" Noise... | 24 Sep 2004 18:04 GMT | 3 |
... when i drive between 65-80 mph, the windscreen makes an annoying high-potched humming/buzzing noise. (the exact speed at which it makes the noise seems to be dependent on how hot/humid the day is). the source of the sound appears to be the black "tape" at center-top part of ...

| 9-3 SE convt chime sound upon hard cornering | 24 Sep 2004 15:06 GMT | 3 |
The subject states most of my question. The 9-3 is a '00 and the chime sound is a 'ding-dong' sort of sound. I have searched the owners manual and if it is addressed in that publication it is not obvious. Any/all enlightening responses are appreciated. Thx.

My 94 9000cs intermittently idles high as soon as it's started. The idle doesn't go down as it warms up. What module controls the idle speed. It's a non-turbo with DI cassette. Thanks for any advice. ---
