A fault has developed on my '88 900i.
It first manifested the other night when I arrived home and switched off the
ignition, except the engine did not stop and the lights remained on, until I
took my foot off the brake then it stopped.

Does anyone have an online resource of a "howto" for pulling a 2.3L engine
from a 9-5?  If not, which manual should I buy for this process?

Well, just got the call from the garage who has my 9-5.  Compression test
is 130-110-90-0, and there is no oil pressure.  Hopefully the block is OK.
Getting the 99 running this weekend, I think.
Can I flat-tow an automatic transmission 9-5 for a distance of 6 miles?

My 1999 9-5 Saab is blowing not responding to the temperature adjustment on
the drivers side of the car.  So it blows the same temp on the drivers side
reguardless of what the temp is set on.  The passenger side, on the other
hand, is working perfectly.  Any suggestions would really ...

  Is it possible to take the front seats from my 89 9000 and bolt them
into my 94 900s without major modifications.  9000's seats are much more
comfortable and since the rest of the car will soon be parted out it would
be nice to keep them.

I just got back from my dealer after a 30K mile scheduled service. I have a
2002 9-3 conv. The dealer claims that my break rotors are thin and need
replacement, for $600.
The dealer claims and I quote  "SAABs have very thin rotors and they cannot

I have a bad oxogen sensor and i would like to repace it myself.  Can
anyone tell me what If this is as easy as it looks or am I in for some

I have a 97 NG900s. 2.3
I seem to be getting oil in the radiator header tank.
There is no evidence of water in the sump.
Any ideas? Head gasket?

I set off in the morning with ACC set to 22 degrees and it warms up nicely.
However, when it gets up to temperature,(I assume)  it stops producing warm
air, in fact it just gets steadily colder.
I have tried switching between auto and econ, to no avail.
