Recently I ran across a couple of articles addressing the removal of the

replacement. The articles state once you loosen the lower ball joint from
the lower A frame, spread the circlip and the axle should ...
Possible good news for Saab!!11 Oct 2004 01:26 GMT5
Today a danish car-mag. brings a translation of an artikle from the German
"Stern" magazine. The GM CEO Rick Wagoner says that the carplant with the
best effiency will get to produce Saab's and Opel Vectra's. And as it seems,
the Saab factory in Trollh?ttan is way faster to ...

87 Saab 9000 slave cylinder repair costs?09 Oct 2004 22:18 GMT8
I was looking at possibly buying a '87 Saab 9000 with 114k miles on it.
The only problem is the the slave cylinder needs to be replaced. My
question is how much would it cost to have someone do it for me, and how
hard is it to do yourself?
This may real bad news, and truly the end of Saab as we know it.09 Oct 2004 22:07 GMT26

I know it was said when they worked with Fiat/Lancia/Alfa, and when they
got bought by GM, and when they built the Saabaru.
Resistor pack - 900009 Oct 2004 13:26 GMT6
Want to put a new diode on the resistor pack, this is the pack in the blower
housing. The old diode was clamped on by a previous owner, and probably of
wrong capacity. As the pack failed, I took it out and removed the diode.
However, this was some time ago, and the project was put ...

Head gasket change09 Oct 2004 01:52 GMT4
I changed my head gasket this summer, just thought I should share the pics
from the event with you. It was pretty straight forward, required no special
tools besides the inverse torx for the head bolts, and was pretty easy since
I had no turbo or AC that had to be moved. My ...
9000 CS headlight wiper motor change09 Oct 2004 01:20 GMT1
Anyone knows whether changing headlight wiper motors on a '97 9000 CS is
a difficult task? Last time I did it was on a 99 with the central motor
attached to the cooler and with the two rods making the horisontal
sweeping movement, this was fairly simple.
