My 1995 900S has had a noticeable (but not quite objectionable) shimmy starting
around 55 mph or so.  It tends to be worse at certain speeds; by cruising
slower or faster it almost disappears.  It is also worse when climbing hills or
accelerating.  Changing tires and balancing ...

The check engine warning light is on, and I have trouble finding out what
the problem is.
Does anyone have a sugestion what the problem is.

passenger seat rattles when it is not occupied, even on fairly smooth

Yep, my very nice 9000 1995 just tossed the timing belt and the local
mechanic says at least some of the valves are bent.  It has about 89k on
it, I wish I would have changed at 75k. or even 88.5k.  I was looking
forward to running this car for quite awhile longer.

Have two problems with my '93 900: I found antifreeze on the floor of the
front passenger compartment and a gas smell especially after the tank is
filled. The car was involved in an accident earlier in the year and these
problems occurred since. The Saab Site mentioned a heater ...

Hi, my check engine light came on my 1996 Saab 900 with 79,000 miles on it.
Can I retrieve the service codes myself manipulating the ignition key like
you can do on GM cars? Thanks for all the help.
