I can't see paying the dealer or SAAB $92.00 US for the cable to connect an
external high power amplifier to my Audio 2 head unit in my 2000 9-3
Convertible. Looking for the cheapest sources other than making the cable

I jsut got a used 9 5 with 44k miles.  When it starts, the oil pump sounds
as if it is dry- but fortunately its noise goes away after a qucik interval.
Is this typical?

My father-in-law has just bought a 2001 or 2002 9-3 Diesel SE and
unfortunately it did not come with a manual. The trip computer is confusing

The fuel pump in my gf's 900S recently got a lot more noisy, this mostly
happens when the tank is low on fuel. What sort of arrangement does this car
have? I'm familiar with Volvo's setup of a small in-tank pump with a larger
main pump down under the car, haven't looked at the Saab ...
