Do You Have A Glove Box?11 Nov 2004 18:41 GMT55
No, really; instructions that rely on it frustrate me, 'cause I think I
don't.
Wiring harness for aftermarket radio - 90' Saab 90011 Nov 2004 03:15 GMT1
Does anyone know where I can find a wiring harness for an aftermarket radio
for a Saab 900 (1990), and if so, about how much it should cost?   Thanks in
advance!

Washer Fluid Kickback10 Nov 2004 21:13 GMT6
So why does the washer fluid from the reservoir drip out through the Saab
9000 headlight nozzles when I've changed those...
Clutch master problem (I think)09 Nov 2004 17:48 GMT5
Car: '78 99 Turbo, Manual transmission
I've got the clutch back together, but it's not working.  It felt a bit
odd before I pulled the engine, now it doesn't work at all.
When I bleed the clutch, I can feel, _sometimes_, that I get a good
Saab 9000 Timing Chain Replacement09 Nov 2004 04:54 GMT1
Is there typically enough indication that your timing chain is going to rely
on?
OK to mix 195/60/R15 and 195/65 R 15 91V tires?08 Nov 2004 21:28 GMT8
I have a  1992 Saab 900 convertible turbo. Is it Ok to have 195/60/R15
tires on the back, and 195/65/R15 tires on the front? I have a chance to
get four new Pirelli tires, but they don't match. I assume it's not a big
deal, that the 60 to 65 won't make a difference in driving or ...
Saab 9000 Auxiliary Drive Belt08 Nov 2004 20:21 GMT3
When should it be replaced? What's the likely charge (ballpark figure)?
Thank you.
Anti Siphone Valve08 Nov 2004 19:42 GMT4
I own a 2000 9-5 2.3LPT, and recently replaced the fuel filter with an OEM
replacement ( not from the dealer). The engine now has to crank several
times before it fires. I suspect that the old fuel filter had an anti
siphone valve while the new filter does not. Has anyone else ...
Running hot08 Nov 2004 19:31 GMT17
I just bought my first Saab, a 1987 900 Turbo Convertible with 131,000
miles, one previous owner (now deceased).  Dealer checked it out, said
everything is working fine.  And it seems to be, except it runs hot, often
time right up to the redline.  Is this a normal thing for this ...
2-cycle parts fiche now has HTML08 Nov 2004 17:50 GMT2
For those interested, I've uploaded some HTML navigation for the
2-cycle parts fiche. Just go to
http://www.gtyurkon.com/SaabVintage/fiche_2cycle_parts/
You should get a table of contents with live links. Hopefully it's
Key blank for 91 900 Turbo?08 Nov 2004 16:06 GMT4
Recently went through a very expensive problem with my 91 SAAB 900, only
having one key that broke off in the door.
Towing, plus VIN key cutting, plus inaccessibility to local dealer makes me
want to get extra keys made up.  Local hardware stores say only a dealer can
'88 900-Won't Restart08 Nov 2004 11:45 GMT2
I'm having trouble with my 1988 900s.  I just got a new battery and it
won't start unless I jump it.  It runs OK, except the check engine light
comes on and off while driving as it has been doing for awhile.  After
running for awhile, it won't start unless I jump it.  Does this ...
[Saab_c900] Additions to the discussion forums page on    www.saab900classic.net08 Nov 2004 11:05 GMT4
I've added links to other websites with Saab discussion forums, notably
Saablink, Saabscene, and that other USA-based networked Saab website that
shall remain nameless. 8-)
Please explore the site and let me know if there are any problems with my
Ipod07 Nov 2004 23:49 GMT8
I have a 99 9-3s with the integrated radio CD headunit. I am thinking about
getting an ipod but am wondering if its possible to link it directly to the
headunit without using an FM transmitter. It can be done with Alpine
headunits via a special cable but has anyone done this with ...
Saab 9000 Transmission swap07 Nov 2004 23:14 GMT4
My brother (lucky soul that he is) owns both a 1995 9000 Aero and a 1992
9000 Turbo. The Aero has a blown gearbox and the '92 turbo has a blown
engine, both vehicles have 5 speed transmissions and he would like to
pull the good gearbox he has and mate it to the good engine he has ...
