a spare, I purchased a keyless entry remote+key off of Ebay. I had
hoped that my local Saab dealer could replace the key integrated into
the remote and program the keyless entry module, but they basically

Usually a dealer will stock them when they are; mine does not.
I know this pcv is in-line, so what is the valve that comes out of the top
passenger side (about) of the spark plug cover that looks like one?

Just purchased my first SAAB yesterday $600.00 body is in pretty good
condition but for a few rust holes in doors.
It is a 900 5 speed much different than the 9000 I drove a few weeks ago
with automatic trans and turbo.

So I had a block heater installed recently- can't use it yet for lack of
an outside outlet- but I was wondering what kind of time is required for
this to warm up the block (as much as it is capable of)?  Obviously this
depends on the outside temperature, so let's say it's zero ...

My mechanics must think I'm nuts, because over the years, I have
described tons of problems that they have been unable to reproduce.

THE CAR:

Just recently my drivers side washer jets has been quite weak. When I lifted
the bonnet and had a look the 'Y' piece that splits the screen wash between
the 3 jets appeared to be leaking. When I took it out of the car and
dismantled it, it appeared to have a little vale with 2 ...

I'm cleaning out my garage and have numerous Saab parts to sell. Everything
is for the 99 and older 900. Too many part numbers to list here, but if you

I just bought a 900S off of ebay.  Should the 89' 900S have a driver's
airbag?

Help - just purchased a '91 Saab 9000 with a single key.  Didn't know there
was remote entry key fob, or that the car even had an alarm.  Have driven
it for 2 months and alarm spontaneously sounded while I was driving and at
the same time, the heater blower started working at high.  ...

OK, so the 99 Turbo project is going well.  I'm down to minor stuff
now.  The one that is annoying me a lot at the moment is that I can't
get the glovebox door open.
With, or without the key, I can turn the knob _almost_ 180 degrees,
