I am adding a CD changer to my Saab 9-5.  How would I get better
sound quality, by using an FM Modulator or a Tape Deck Adapter?

Check Engine light on car still has rough idle after replacing idle control
valve, oxogen sensor , fuel pressure regulator and eliminating air mass
meter. Also new plugs wires, plugs, rotor and dist cap. Can not find any
air leaks or fuel leaks.  Any suggestions would be appreciated ...

This is the message on the SID when I try to access the CD changer in the
trunk.  Any knowledge as to what causes this?  Do I need a dealer to correct
this or do I have other options?

I have a 99 9-5 Saab which just started leaking oil @ 98K miles... at first
I thought it was the oil filter but it isn't and appears to be above the
filter... it is very hard to see where it is coming from; viewing from top
bottom... any ideas would be appreciated. Thanks

I need to replace suspension bushings and am getting mixed reactions when
I talk to people about the idea of replacing the existing rubber bushings
with polyurethane ones.
What are your experiences with polyurethane bushings and do you recommend

I have a 91 Saab 9000 . if the engine is could , and I turn on the
headlights , the engine dies . but if it warms up for five minutes . it's
OK.  Has anybody had this problem or know of a possible solution.  Thank you

We have just replaced the chains in my friends  1996 9000 Aero
Automatic. He is now suffering from a vibration at low revs which
smooths out to be unnoticable up the rev range. The chains were all
adjusted to TDC and the marks on the balance shafts and cams all lined

My headlights momentarily dim when the a/c comp clutch cycles on. It is real
noticeable at night. Does anyone know how many amps the clutch should draw?
The volts drop from 14.4 to 13.2 but I have not measured draw. I can not

two years ago I could get the trolley jack underneath;
one year ago I would only go under the supporting brace
(from chassis span to front);
now, it wont go under.

I replaced the thermostat in my '86 900, and apparently I have a bubble in
the heater core.  The thermostat gets to a nice termperature, but the heat
isn't coming in by me.  I'm not seeing the bleeder valve I expected to see
up in that area on or near the firewall, does someone have ...
