Sonett starter28 Feb 2005 15:09 GMT2
Hey all,
I'm looking for a place to buy a starter for a '72 Sonett. None of the auto
parts stores seem to have a listing, although they do list the starter
drive. Does anyone know of a part number or cross reference? I was wondering
2004 9-5 changes, yet again...28 Feb 2005 09:51 GMT6
A few weeks ago I posted a question about replacing the digital
displays on my 2004 9-5.  I don't like the color and wanted the green
displays like in the 9-3.  No one liked that idea...
So, I've concocted another scheme.
Electric Seat28 Feb 2005 09:43 GMT4
Hello  New Problem w/ 1997 900 SE Turbo Convertible.  Last night my
wife tells me that the passenger seat adjusting doesn't work -
electric seats - all of a sudden stopped.  Yup, I check the
fuses...but they are fine.  So I get on the garage floor (first time

Saab to be sold?...
  http://www.reuters.com/newsArticle.jhtml?type=businessNews&storyID=7722723
The reasons laid out in the article make sense as a last ditch effort on the
part of GM to get some form of return on their Saab venture.  However, the
[Saab_c900] To CV or not to CV - mk 2!27 Feb 2005 22:41 GMT5
Well after getting a lot of things set up so I could swap driveshafts
between the donor car and my 900S, I couldn't get the bolts holding the
brake caliper on the 900S to come free, and since I needed to get up to
the SCCA meeting last night I aborted the whole process and put my ...

it's a graphite grey or slug colour if you prefer.

I'm not sure if anyone is going to be able to help, cause diagnosing
elecrical faults is confusing when you've got the car in front of you (for
me anyway).

9-5 airco schizophrenic26 Feb 2005 01:40 GMT3
What a wonderful newsgroup. Just became proud owner of a beautiful 9-5
(1998) and am over the moon, was always happy in subaru legacy, but will
never look back.  However the airco has a "small" problem.
While cool air is comforting the front passengers, the backseat passengers
97 900SE Rear center reflector panel between taillights...25 Feb 2005 18:44 GMT6
Does anybody know where I can find the rear center reflector panel
that goes between the taillights? Mine is cracked and I am looking to
replace but looking for a reasonable price. Thanks for any help.
Unravelled Sepentine Belt25 Feb 2005 16:20 GMT5
This is a new belt put in approximately a month ago when the water pump was
replaced. A quarter inch strip has separated off and was slapping against
the engine is how I know that. I can't say why this was. Think there might
be a pulley freezing somehow? Think the water pump ...
Oil: synthetic or no, how to tell?25 Feb 2005 10:31 GMT5
BACKGROUND: I recently bought a 2000 model 9-3 with 45K miles on it. It came
from a used car dealer who had no idea about the past history of the
vehicle, but CarFax seems to reflect that it was used as a lease vehicle
with routine oil changes done at a Saab dealer since new.
oil change25 Feb 2005 05:26 GMT7
Managed to shred the head of the 13mm sump plug trying to get it off to
change the oil - its still not off.
Any suggestions on how to get it off (I'm thinking very big monkey wrench)
