just bought this car and it looks great and the engine seems sound enough for a car it's age (about 120,000 miles) BUT: 1. it doesn't accelerate very well, seeming to stay in low gear for too long, and is hesitant when changing. it's great at about 30 or 40 mph

Opened my front door last Saturday and was astonised to see a 'D reg' - 1966 - Saab 96 in 'vomit green' parked in front of my house. No idea whose it is or why it was there - but I had a look around. The interior is somewhat spartan compared to my 9000 !

When the outside temperature is high, there is a column of pixels that does not light on the SID (2000 900s TiD coup?). When it' s cold outside, the SID screen is OK, but as soon as the temp inside the car is more than 22-25?Celsius, the gulty column turn off.

I have occasionally ben getting a break light failure display on my 1996 900S 2.0 Turbo (32K), although the brake lights are fine. Has anyone else experienced this or can anyone shed some light on it? Cheers
