I'm looking into buying an old Saab 9000 and wondered if anybody knew
where I might find mpg figures from. I was looking at a 1991 Saab 9000
2Litre Injection and a 1995 9000 CDE 2L. Has anybody got any ideas. Saab's
pages are obviously up to date so there's no info on the old ...

'89 900 turbo auto trans23 Feb 2005 16:33 GMT5
just bought this car and it looks great and the engine seems sound
enough for a car it's age (about 120,000 miles) BUT:
1. it doesn't accelerate very well, seeming to stay in low gear for too

Opened my front door last Saturday and was astonised to see a 'D reg' -

No idea whose it is or why it was there - but I had a look around. The
interior is somewhat spartan compared to my 9000 !

OK, I've been doing internet research...looks like the SID units have

Turbo Gauge22 Feb 2005 09:18 GMT3
Hi;
Test driving a 9-5 2.3t estate, I noticed on accelerating that the turbo
gauge moved swiftly throughout the entire range from the white -> yellow ->
red zones. Is this normal? It's 2001 model, and has done 100,000 miles, it's
1 column of pixels does not light on my SID... only when warm weather....22 Feb 2005 03:35 GMT1
When the outside temperature is high, there is a column of pixels that does
not light on the SID (2000 900s TiD coup?). When it' s cold outside, the SID
screen is OK, but as soon as the temp inside the car is more than
22-25?Celsius, the gulty column turn off.
