If you can help me with this it would be greatly appreciated. I own a
9000i (98 model) and the ACC has recently developed a problem, in all
modes. There is no cool air being mixed into the system, even on Lo

Red light on dash - 1987 T1623 Mar 2005 10:09 GMT8
can anyone tell me what the big red light with an exclamation mark in it
means? It's the one on the far RIGHT of the instrument panel... it's not the
"check engine light". I didn't even know this red one existed until it
started coming on and off today..
Light problem22 Mar 2005 23:23 GMT9
Anyone here heard of this one?
My 97 900se's lights stay on (headlights) when I cut the car off, even
when I remove the keys.  To get them to cut off I have to restart it
(or at least turn the key halfway) then off again.  Eventually they'll

I'm looking for an oil catch tank solution for the crankcase ventilation
system on my 1989 900 T8. I'm getting oil dripping down onto the fuel
metering plate and into the airbox. I'd like to (a) stop it and (b) get a
handle on how much oil ... I don't seem to need to top up at all ...

An interesting speaker problem22 Mar 2005 12:02 GMT6
I picked up a 2000 S Convertible in December which is the middle of winter
here in New Jersey USA.  I noticed the front left speaker wasn't working and
I thought I would wait until it got warmer to check it out.  A few weeks ago
I noticed that it was working on the way home.  It ...

Alternator, Voltage Regulator problem? (C900 - 85 turbo)20 Mar 2005 13:48 GMT2
My saab died on me at the gas station the other day.  I got a jump and back
on my way.  After that point, I kept seeing the battery light(and the light
just to the left of it) come on very brightly.  I immediately thought it was
the battery going dead from running a small ...
more news re the cold-idle problem (1985 900i)20 Mar 2005 09:00 GMT1
I've done some circuit tracing today after checking the wiring diagram for
the fuel system in the Bentley manual and noticing the warm-up regular and
auxilliary air valve connect to the same point for the +12 volt feed which
comes through the fuel-pump relay, and both connect to the ...
'89 900S Avg Mx Costs??19 Mar 2005 05:39 GMT4
Wondering what to expect from my car down the road so to speak.
'89 900S w/ 155K miles. I've been spending approx $900-$1000 per year over
the last 9 years on non-routine maintenance (everything other than oil
changes pretty much).  I got this cost from averaging my bills from an
Replacing original Carion Cassette Receiver w/ Graphic Equalizer w/ Pioneer CD Receiver (89 900 Turbo)19 Mar 2005 04:17 GMT1
Anyone have experience uninstalling this deck w/ separate equalizer (and
theft protection feature) and replacing w/ aftermarket equipment?  A local
electronics retailer wanted to charge an additional $120 to install a new CD
Receiver because they 'had to bypass the amplifier.'  ...

two days ago i got my first saab, a 2002 9-3, and am wondering if i have to

Overboost problem17 Mar 2005 19:41 GMT12
I have been living with an overboost problem on my '92 9000 for a while
now due to financial constraints. The turbo will boost to where it
starts touching red on the gauge which will in turn cut out the fuel
pump to save the motor...the overall effect is kind of a "bucking"
