| 4x4 Saab's - Do you think GM demanding a 'Saab SUV' will work? | 06 Mar 2005 13:25 GMT | 2 |
Normally I post about C900's, as you know. This is quite a departure from my regular subject-matter. 8-) I'm very concerned that GM are trying to re-engineer Saab into become 'just another American car company' by forcing Saab into producing types of

I see these on eBay too, and have wondered if they would fit a 1994 that I have. They're always from later 9000s.

I recently bought a 2004 9-3 Aero, slightly used...4k miles (was a trade in...dealer claimed owner had wanted to lower their payments). While it is a very slick car, it has numerous.little problems: - noisy/squeaky brakes/high pitch noises (even after releasing brake, esp

| Interview with GM European boss on BBC-tv | 04 Mar 2005 13:58 GMT | 9 |
On BBC-tv today (1mar2005) was an interview with GM's Euroboss: the usual smooth creep spouting bureau-speak. The interview got off to hot racing start when the BBC man challenged him about GM rebranding some Daewoo wagon as a Cadillac: the message was that

| Decision tomorrow: Trollhattan vs Russelheim | 04 Mar 2005 12:52 GMT | 8 |
http://www.detnews.com/2005/autosinsider/0503/03/01-106884.htm If Trollhattan loses, will this mark a slow death for Saab? Maybe not, no one seems to care that BMWs and Toyotas are made right here in the US....they certainly haven't lost their identities.

| clutch replacement | 04 Mar 2005 09:12 GMT | 9 |
I think it's time to have the clutch replaced in my wife's 1990 900. We're satisfied, having gotten about 110k mi out of the original clutch, mostly in city driving. I was wondering if anyone knows what we should expect to pay one of the local Saab repair shops for the job and if ...

| Saab 9-3: What octane to tank? | 04 Mar 2005 02:29 GMT | 11 |
I have tried 87, 89, 92 with no noticable difference, although I suspect to feel a more little vibration when idling on 87. The manual recommends 92, but says it can run lower grade as well. The only reason why I will tank 92 would be if 87 would be bad for the

Hi; Picked up my 2001 9-5 estate last week, and I love it - oodles of torque from the 2.3 engine, and the seats are *so* comfortable! Just a couple of little niggles that I hoped some of you more knowledgeable

| Turbo badges | 02 Mar 2005 21:25 GMT | 13 |
Do 900 LPTs in the UK have a "Turbo" badge on the radiator grill? I know 9000 LPTs don't, but I have seen some advertised on eBay and am not sure if the owner's description is correct.

| Saab 2004 9-3 Foglamps | 02 Mar 2005 00:42 GMT | 4 |
I recently had my new 2004 9-3 setup so that the headlamps were always on. (part of their "30 day check") This I then discovered had disabled the fog lamps. I then returned it to the local Saab dealer. The technician told me he

| Can't decide whether I like this Ebay car or not | 01 Mar 2005 13:54 GMT | 14 |
http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=4529608542 Is this a tasteful update and modification of a C900, or have the Chavscum discovered Saab turbos. That Carlsson kit loks more like the Erubuni one doesn't it?
