Just wondering whether it's possible for a modern (1991) Saab gearbox
to actually seize? The box on my 9000 cs 2.3t has been whining for a
while, and now it's louder and more like a hum. Happens at all speeds,
in all gears and even when coasting and with the engine off.

How can I check if the recirculation flap is working on my ACC?

I have a 1994 Saab 900SE turbo (coupe).  The VIN is

Recently, the front end started clunking over bumps.  The noise sounds
like two pieces of metal hitting, or something being loose.

Must the steering wheel (the horizontal part in the middle) have to be
exactly horizontal (with the dashboard) when driving straight?

I took an advanced driver training course in NH last weekend, as it was
sponsored by one of the local Saab dealerships.  They supplied all the cars:
