| source for new key fobs? | 04 Apr 2005 23:03 GMT | 3 |
The remote keyless entry key fob is starting to be really picky as to whether it wants to work, or not. Also, the black rubber pads are starting to wear through. Can anyone suggest a cheap source for a replacement? Also, what's

| Debra Kelly-Ennis gone | 04 Apr 2005 15:02 GMT | 1 |
Yes, the woman who actually used the phrase "gee whiz technology" to describe Saabs is gone from Saab Cars USA. However, I'm not so convinced we have a winner in the new Saab Cars USA chief...Jay Spenchian. He's a former marketing guy at Cadillac.

| Water pump | 04 Apr 2005 12:37 GMT | 2 |
Just had a service on a 2001 9-3 (75,000 kilometers). Report said the water pump was "weeping." They said it should be fixed relatively soon. Is this a common problem, and how soon do you reckon it should be done? How big a job is it?

99 9-5 SE, Manual Transmission, 2.3T I've had this problem for a while, started after I told the Saab guys to program the locking system to automatically lock all of the doors when I start driving and to have the remote unlock all when I push the button

| 9000 turbo - no power | 04 Apr 2005 06:10 GMT | 20 |
I looked at a 94 9000 CDE this weekend that was in exceptional shape, except for one important aspect - the car really had no boost. Even though it was automatic, the turbo should still create a good amount of accelleration. The turbo guage indicated normal boost, same as my 900

| install or reprogram saab keyless entry system | 04 Apr 2005 03:35 GMT | 2 |
i bought a used '99 saab 9-3, and it didnt come with either of the remotes that the car originally came with. saab says that in order to take advantage of the cars keyless entry system, -it needs one of the original remotes to match up the programing, and that if the remotes

| 91 900 Heater Hose replacement questions | 03 Apr 2005 23:52 GMT | 1 |
I am looking to replace my lower(?) heater hose, it is a Y'ed hose that runs from the firewall( heater matrix) to the water pump and branches off to under the carb area. My problem is that the end at the water pump is impossible to get at, I can sort of see the hose clamp, but ...

| 9-3 brake rotor | 03 Apr 2005 23:50 GMT | 27 |
Getting ready to replace front pads and rotors on my 2000 9-3. Everything I have seen says it is quite simple. Basically push the caliper back, pull the guide pins, remove and replace rotors, and button up. Now, a guy at work is telling me, that you shouldn't just push the

| Climate control on 96 9000 2.3 LPT CSE | 03 Apr 2005 21:15 GMT | 15 |
Folks...the ACC has started behaving oddly. It works for around the first 30 minutes of a journey, though tends to heat the cabin a bit more than the temperature setting suggests it should. After that time the air coming out of the ducts rapidly cools, until even with the control ...

| Oil drain plug, 94' 9000 | 03 Apr 2005 10:50 GMT | 1 |
I took a look today to change my oil, and I couldn't find the oil drain plug on my 94 9000 CDE. There was one rather large bolt next to the oil filter, but it did not seem like that would be it. All other bolts seemed to have a specific function other than a drain plug. Where ...

| is this a good SAAB? | 02 Apr 2005 17:03 GMT | 3 |
This garage has a SAAB 9000c 1997 Manual transmission for $1,100.00 USD. It has 110,000 miles. When you turn the staring wheel the cars power staring bumps. I think it is the power steering pump, because it has lot of power steering fluid. Correct me if you think otherwise. I ...
