| DIC Failure | 19 Jun 2005 13:20 GMT | 4 |
My DIC failed only 34 miles over warranty. Saab refused to reimburse me. They did, however, reimburse a friend of mine for the exact same problem which was repaired by the same mechanic. Saab seems to be as unpredictalbe and arbitrary as the failure of its parts. Has anyone else out ...

| Update: Wheels on 9-3 Saab | 19 Jun 2005 12:05 GMT | 4 |
I posted here a few weeks ago about needing to clean a year's worth of brake dust accumulated on the wheels of my wife's 2004 Saab 9-3. Even though the car was washed regularly, no particular attention had been paid to the wheels.

| 9-3 Vector Sport 150 TiD | 18 Jun 2005 15:10 GMT | 3 |
Just ordered one of these for my next company car. I've currently got a BMW330i Sport, so I'm under no illusion that it'll be slower, but this one is *tons* cheaper in tax. Oddly enough, I didn't bother test driving one. I ordered it all on hear-say from a collegue who said "It's ...

A couple of people suggested Ericsson Industries as a source of (manual) transmission repair parts. No contact info was given and I can find no trace of any such company. Any clues?

| 9-7X ? | 15 Jun 2005 20:11 GMT | 39 |
What is GM doing? The 9-7 looks nothing like a SAAB. Doesn't GM understand that people buy SAABs because they like the Nordic engineering vs American, Japanese, German? I expect those 9-7's to sit on the lots.

| Misfire on 9000 Aero | 15 Jun 2005 00:14 GMT | 4 |
I've recently bought a '93 9000 Aero with 115,000mls on the clock. It runs very well normally - the only problem is that it occasionally has an annoying misfire under heavy acceleration. The car literally seems to miss a beat, then carries on and revs out to the redline. I've ...
