I bought a 1994 CSE in May.  It's the 2.6 Liter engine, normally aspirated,
and has the R-134 based air conditoning system.  
My mechanic  (an independent Saab specialist) noticed that the serpentine
belt was shredded and about to slip off.  He recommended replacing the

The positive cable between my starter and alternator finally corroded
beyond the point of use the other day 900T(Classic).  Does anyone have one
in decent shape they're willing to part with, or have some type of
replacement that's homegrown that they swear by?

I have a 1971 96, and I'm having a bear of a time getting a spark plug
wire to work on the front passenger's side plug. There is no room for
a standard plug wire to fit, and I've had trouble getting a 90 degree
angled wire to work also. Of course this is a very tight squeeze with

repairs were I don't think nothing abnormal for a 20 year old car.
waterpump, steering rack, master cylinder ect.  (I love the way it runs and

What do folks use for the rear muffler box hangers on the turbo style
exhaust? The SAAB ones hang too low. The longest I've kept the rear box in
the same place is with electrical wire and zip ties!!! What brand and/or

While conducting a routine oil change this afternoon, I noticed a couple of
strange things with the wiring on the intake side of the engine.
First, the main cable from the battery's (+) terminal has a serious insulation

Have a saab 95 areo 2001. There is a screw in the center of
injectionbar. The same bar where the injectionsvalv is fit to.  It is
possible to move the screw by hand. What is that screw for?
