Looks like the interior of the 9-3SS
That really is sad.
getting the web files back online again!04 Sep 2005 23:54 GMT1
I've put the disk back into my workstation tonight after copying the
recovered files back onto it from the other system I was using temporarily.
The files should be acessible again but they still have Google's tagging
additions in them so they might look a bit funny for a while. 8-)
Idling at 450rpm04 Sep 2005 11:10 GMT11
At 2am this morning, doing 40mph through some roadworks on the M1
(Interstate to you american folks!) the "Check Engine" light came on.
It was accompanied by the cruise control turning itself off, and a
little loss (only just noticeable) in power. When I pulled over to
Is there no shop/repair manual for the 1999 9-3?04 Sep 2005 10:32 GMT5
Easy one: Is there a complete shop manual for the 1999 Saab 9-3?
There MUST BE, right?  Why is it hard to find?

[Saab_c900] saab ball joint tool - alternatives?03 Sep 2005 08:16 GMT6
The upper balljoints for both front wheels on my 1985 900i are shot
(broken boots, etc.) and the only part where I'm getting stuck is getting
the ball joint shaft out of the swivel member. The Bentley manual says not
to use a generic ball joint separator fork.
Saab 9-703 Sep 2005 01:19 GMT13
Today I read that the Saab 9-7 is a Chevy Trail Blazer in disguise, but over
$10,000 more for the disguise. The 9-2 is a Subaru Impreza commonly known at
the Saabaru, fewer features, but at a higher cost. It has been a great
brand, but it may well be that the glory days of Saab ...

(O.T.) Studebakers in Sweden02 Sep 2005 11:33 GMT15
I know this is off-topic, but I'm also a Studebaker collector in
addition to 2-cycle SAABs, and I thought these so non-Swedish cars in
Sweden were interesting. Swedes seem to appreciate cars that aren't
just copies of what's popular.
how to buy a used 9000 CSE02 Sep 2005 10:14 GMT16
Saabs depreciate so quickly they can be the best buy in the used
euro/luxobox market. I got a 93 9000CSE turbo, 5 spd, leather, wood,
140k for US$3500. I put in about $2500. for clutch (failed at ~160k),
starter, tires, exhaust, CV boot, ACC blower, heater core, voltage
I've joined the team02 Sep 2005 05:44 GMT4
After three bad volvos (two 850's and a V70/lemon car), I finally unloaded
it and purchased a certified 2004 Saab 9-5 Wagon with 18,000 miles. My
initial impression is that the Saab offers a much more luxurious ride,
quieter, and better acceleration. The linear has more HP than ...

2005 rims 9-302 Sep 2005 01:26 GMT3
I have a oppertunity to buy 4 new steel saab rims(for winter use)
and I am trying to find out if they will fit my 2005 9-3.
They have a saab part number on them 4688156, these are 15".
The local dealer tells me they will fit up to 2003 9-3 models.
