| Carpet Clips for a 9-3 | 15 Oct 2005 18:00 GMT | 1 |
I've just got a set of proper Saab carpets/mats for a 1999 9-3. They have a rivet on the rear that sits over a lug that sits out of the chassis on the driver side and there's a single lug on the passenger side.

| C900 dash bulbs | 14 Oct 2005 22:37 GMT | 4 |
I'm looking to replace my C900 dash bulbs with LEDs but having trouble finding a match. These bulbs http://redirx.com/?3ysa look similar to the smaller ones, but the base of the existing bulbs is squarer than the base in that picture appears to be. Will that fit?

| Can rear camber be adjusted on a 00 Viggen? | 13 Oct 2005 16:38 GMT | 9 |
I just had my tires rotated and noticed the rears were unevenly worn (more wear on the insides). The tire service guys aligned it but said the rear camber could not be adjusted on the Viggen. They said the only possible remedy was to replace the shocks. I'd prefer not to have to ...

| What a f@#king scam - FuelSaver my a.s - it's just a damn magnet | 13 Oct 2005 10:23 GMT | 59 |
I guess most of you know about these rip-off devices - a ring magnet that you clamp around your car's fuel supply line. Just seen some Ebay seller based in Casula (suburb in Sydney, Australia) trying to flog them for Saab's at:

| 92 9000 | 13 Oct 2005 05:35 GMT | 2 |
What would cause the tranmission in a 92 9000 with 181,000 miles, to suddenly start hesitating for a couple seconds before going into drive from reverse or park, or when I slow down for a turning car, as I accelerate, it revs before the drive engages?

| Speedo Head and check engine light | 12 Oct 2005 21:06 GMT | 1 |
We have two Saabs and (at least) two problems. 1) the speedometer head on my wife's 1990 900 is partly broken. The speedometer works fine but the tripmeter and the odometer no longer advance. My local shop says they'll send it out to VDO for a rebuild estimated at

| Diagnosis anyone? | 12 Oct 2005 16:34 GMT | 2 |
My 1993 9000 CSE 2.0 LPT which is usually perfect, has developed a slight farting sound (sorry) that you can only hear under the bonnet (hood). The idle is slightly higher than normal, often starts at 1200 but settles down at 1000 rpm. The car drives normally, no hesitation or lack ...

| '99 9.5 smells like crayons | 11 Oct 2005 07:34 GMT | 21 |
Just bought a used '99 9.5 with an unbearable smell like crayons. We were told it was the leather, someone else said it the coating on the undercarriage. Has anyone heard of this? What can we do? No one wants to drive it and it's not going away. No, I can't get used to it either.
