| Traction Control? | 07 Oct 2005 16:49 GMT | 4 |
I have heard that the traction control on the SAAB 9000's is notorious for being problematic. I have a 92 with same. What about the traction control on the newer 9-3 or 9-5 models? Is this optional? Is it to be avoided when buying used?

I was changing the oil on my 1992 900, and decided to check out some ignition components while waiting for oil to drain. I was measuring resistance in the spark plug wires, which is supposed to be between 2000 and 3000 ohms. The wires from cylinders 2, 3, and 4 all fell within that ...

OK, so last year (June) I finally bit the bullet and went to the dealer to have them replace the SID in my 99 9-5, it was a mess. I moaned and groaned to Saaab about this being a systemic problem that they should take care of to no avail and finally paid the $500 plus to get the ...

My 1987 900 Aero is a RHD UK spec version. Whilst running through the Bentley Cruise Control (CC) checks on Sunday (CC not functioning) I discovered the linkage to the slave(?) cylinder from the pedal on the passenger side of the car is very loose. Its quite competent,
