I'm counting down the days until Friday when I pick up a sha-weet silver
1985 900 T8 hatchback with 220K miles on it. It'll be my first turbo
after two 1984 900 S models. The turbo has been cared for by a Saab

I picked up the 1985 900 T16 last week, and it runs like a top. I got
instructions from saabnet bb on swapping the hood, which is hanging on
by one side of the hinge/bracket. Other than that, which sounds like a
fairly simple DIY project once I find a new hood, the car is in good ...

Now I took a chance and bought a cruise control kit off ebay for my wife's
manual gearbox 9000 Anni'
I've got the box with the Bowden (?) cable which operates the throttle, two
pedal switches and the cruise control stalk.

I'm pissed off at Saab that they won't fix the SID that has now broken in my
car TWICE (I paid to have it fixed 15 months before it broke again) and it's

On my 85 C900T, the alternator/battery light comes on after shutting the car
off.  I'm not sure why it's doing this, but I'm certain it would drain my

turbocharged 900, and after owning two naturally aspirated 1984 900s,
and all I can say is...Wow!! I had a really fun drive home!
