Hmm definate air in the clutch.17 Nov 2005 16:32 GMT10
But tried to bleed it, and the bled nipple is pretty seized. Used loads
of plus gas on it, but it still wouldn't shift with a normal wrench and
no room for a deep reach socket. Didn't want to use a hammer to "ease"
the wrench round with a hammer for fear of snaping the nipple.

my sab 900s 1994 model would not go and seemed starving for fuel, both my

filter or the pump. however at great expense we have changed the fuel  pump

9000SE head gasket blows 6 weeks after tightening by dealership...17 Nov 2005 04:14 GMT9
I have a '96 SAAB 9000 SE.  At the end of September I had to get a lot
of work done to get it through it's MOT, along with a full service.
There was a problem with the sump and it had to be removed & sent off
for repair (it was a SAAB dealership garage), which need the engine
ACC Problems16 Nov 2005 22:55 GMT8
I have a 1992 9000 Turbo which I dearly love. However, two nights ago,
the ACC started freaking out. As I was driving back from Seattle in
about 52 or so degree weather, the cabin fan kept coming on, staying on
for a couple seconds, then turning off...over and over again. The
check valve or no check valve? '87 900T1616 Nov 2005 21:47 GMT8
Just after thoughts to what people think of some advice i got from local
saab garage (not dealer - private specalist uk).
The check valve (oneway valve) that sits on the breather hose from the inlet
manifold and the cam cover, apparently is of no use and does not matter if

GM on the verge of Bancrupcy (spelling)14 Nov 2005 20:19 GMT2
An article today in a danish financial newspaper tells the story of a GM
that has the same credit-rating as Delta (Airlines) and Delphi did, just
before they declared Bancrupcy.
Anyone wanna buy Saab of off them for $5.-?
2.3 turbo vs 2.0 turbo14 Nov 2005 19:29 GMT3
Hi i was wondering what engine is stronger the 2.0 turbo saab 9000
motor (B202) or the 2.3 saab 9000 motor (B234)? and i dont mean
stronger as in HP but as in strength of the motor itself
what motor is better for tunning?
Performance upgrade13 Nov 2005 14:30 GMT6
I have been considering Saab's recommended Hirsch upgrade for my 93 Aero
210BHP convertible. Stage one (£700+) is simply modifying the ECU software
with a PPC unit which only gives an extra 20BHP, stage two (£2600+) involves
a new exhaust and intercooler but gives an extra 42 BHP ...

FAO "Pooh" 9k air mass meter12 Nov 2005 15:30 GMT4
Trawling the net for info on my broken air mass meter today and an old news
post came up with your name on it. You said you replaced the meter with a
known good one, but it didn't help and you wondered if there was something
that needed to be reset...

I'm thinking about buying a second hand 1998 Saab 9-5 and would like to
know the opinion of those who own or have used a similar car. It's a
2000 cc, automatic transmission.
I'm particulary interested in the motor performance, fuel consumption
