Approx. 6 times in the last 8 months my 9-3 will not start. This problem will last for only 10 or 15 minutes and then the car finally starts. This seems to occur when the temperature is warm and when the car has only been sitting for 5 to 30 minutes. All the lights on the dash come ...

| DIY versus "red box" APC | 23 Dec 2005 23:08 GMT | 4 |
What differences would one expect between a DIY APC upgrade such as the one outlined at http://www.saabworks.com/projects/apc.html and a ~$300 box from a professional tuner? Obviously the former involves more effort, but is the final product qualitatively comparable, or is there

I moved back to the UK from Germany this year and decided to use my car allowance from work to run a '94 Saab 9000 CSE instead of buying a brand new lease purchase car like most of my co-workers. The car has been in the family since new, and I paid £750 for it and

Looking for general consensus on average life of auto trans on this 96 9000 CSE turbo 4. Ours has 116k, and trans pump has been loud for 60k, but still going strong, just worried of expense when it does give up, and if worth the expense to replace. All help and opinions are ...

I have an 04 9-3ss Aero with the stock Pirellis P-Zeros (on the 17" rims). I just swapped on new Goodyear Eagles (on 16" rims) for winter driving (wow...these work great! just tested them in 6" of snow, up steep, slick hills in Maine on Thursday).

| TCS valve on firewall of 92 9000 T? | 22 Dec 2005 00:40 GMT | 3 |
I have found the TCS valve on the firewall. It is connected to the intake via a check valve. Check valve does not allow air to blow out from the intake but it does allow air to go in, albeit slowly. I checked by blowing and sucking. On sucking air out of the intake (towards the
