I have a 94 9000 Aero and the driver seat heater recently stopped working.
Previous to that the illumination for the control quit working.
I've removed the control, which has five lugs on the back, and removed the
front piece from the control.  It looks like I can solder in a new ...

I am looking for some tire advice.  My 2001 9-3 currently has Pirelli
P4000 tires with about 25% tread left.  I am interested in the best
all-season tire (195-60-R15).  I realize this is going to a an opinion
poll but I want to hear from Saab owners that are acutually driving on

All of a sudden the backup lights stopped working on my '89 900.  I've
replaced the bulbs and nothing.  The fuse is fine though I replaced it

Hey, all - I'm looking for a faq/walkthrough (with pics) of a front
caliper replacement.  I've done some surfing various Saab sites, and
have come up empty-handed.
Also - I'm running a 2002 9-3...would the Viggen rotors/calipers fit

Four months and 16,000km ago I replaced all the engine related mounts in my
9000 2.0T 5Spd.  This included the 2 upper torque reaction bushes, the
gearbox mount and the two hydraulic engine mounts with Scan-Tec parts.
Bugger me if I am not starting to feel slop creeping back in ...

Although it's our 3rd saab, it's my first (few) time around this ng.The
other day, while following a 9000 CD rusted to the bone with my new '06 9-3
aero combi, the question strucked me ; is there a clivage between pre-GM
saab owners and post-GM in this ng ? Should I be careful ...

Just getting the MOT renewed on my older 9000.
How *do* you replace the front sidelight bulb ? Does the glass have to
come off - or does the entire lamp assembly need to be removed ?

Just after posting about the longevity of Saab engines my '94 9000 cse
( 2.0 lpt ) appears to have developed a big end problem ( that's what
it sounds like to me ).

I am thinking of getting the stage 1 ECU upgrade.  They are claiming
40+ increase, is this credible and has anyone actually bought one?  Was
it worth it?

What type of struts for daily driving (in a spirited manner)?
Are springs an option, as in progressive rates, etc, or is there no
point to other than stock springs?
