How on earth does that wheel lock nut work?  Managed to remove all the
other bolts, but i can't figure out how that thing comes undone.  I
have the socket, put it in the hole and go to wrench it off, but there
is no purchase whatsoever, beats me !

Does ONStar take the phone port on later 9-5's?08 Jan 2006 16:49 GMT1
I use the integrated port in the radio for the hands free kit for my phone
in my 9-5.  The integration is perfect.
If I get a later 9-5 that has On-Star, does that take the port that I plug
into or does the radio have a special port for on-star?
Rebuilding C900T Clutch Slave?07 Jan 2006 14:35 GMT9
I have a rebuild kit for my wife's 85 900 T. I have the slave that came
out and it comes apart quite easily (this was the reason for replacing
clutch in the first place). I also have a used (and presumably working)
unit.
4HP18 auto transmission07 Jan 2006 03:25 GMT3
Can anybody verify if an automatic transmission 4HP18 (by ZF) from Audi A6
can replace original 4HP18 in Saab 9000 MY 92? Mine began having problems
with 3rd and 4th gear. Kick down is not working properly and while slowing
down to almost a stop transmission begins to vibrate ...
Battery cables06 Jan 2006 20:46 GMT2
I'm going to replace my battery cables, but $125 seems awfully steep,
so I thought I'd make my own.  (Looks to be around $60, and that's with
shiny ricey terminal clamps and such.)  I figure 4 gauge will be more
than enough all around, right?  What size wire terminals will I need on

Second Thoughts05 Jan 2006 11:19 GMT9
I almost did it.
Almost traded in my 1997 9000 Aero (midnight blue, 82K miles) for a new
BMW 525i.
Why?  Well, things have started failing -- front headlamp washers,
Workshop manual recommendations needed for 9-3 (98-02)04 Jan 2006 19:49 GMT1
It appears that there's no Hanes manual for the 98-02 Saab 9-3. Any
suggestions regarding an alternative?

More Gemmification04 Jan 2006 12:06 GMT40
My Saab dealer apologized today that they no longer had Saab branded oil
filters. They are now GM branded and come in neutral white boxes. Only the
price is the same as before. Well, they also looked the same apart from the
removal of the Saab logo and they are black instead of blue ...
"New Saab five-door is sporty"04 Jan 2006 00:28 GMT22
New Saab five-door is sporty
Saab has just begun selling a five-door version of the 9-3 sedan. But
don't go calling this new version of the 9-3 a station wagon. Saab,
very enthusiastically -- and deliberately -- refers to its newest
