92 9000 T progress...03 Jan 2006 12:32 GMT1
Happy New Year!
Ever since I replaced the vacuum hose from the TCS to the TCS valve on
the firewall it has not quit (or gone into LHM) on me! (fingers still

A quick and dirty clutch pressure bleeder02 Jan 2006 17:54 GMT6
9000 2.0T: I had the misfortune to have the hydraulic line from the master
cylinder to slave cylinder separate this week-end. Waited in the bush a
dehydrating 3 hours in 40C heat for the recovery truck to pick me up.
The Quasi motors site describes a pressure bleed procedure using a
93 9000 - turning off TCS02 Jan 2006 17:29 GMT2
Looks like the pesky TCS is acting up on my 93 9000CSET. I make a right
turn, shifted to 2nd and suddenly no power. Engine at 1000rpm but felt like
I was in 5th gear. Had to juggle gas & clutch to get any forward motion.

Shell's 100-RON fuel - what actually is it?01 Jan 2006 05:43 GMT117
Shell in Australia now sells 100-RON fuel - just wondering if it's the
much-discussed ethanol-based fuel or if it really is a higher octane blend
of conventional crude-oil-derived petroleum fuel.
Is there anything on the web which details the exact composition of this
1989 SAAB 900S problem01 Jan 2006 01:10 GMT7
Hello all.  Hopefully someone can help me out.
Whenever I start my car (whether it's been off for 5 minutes or
overnight) the car can't be revved too fast (ie. flooring it).  Revving
it too fast causes it to stall.  I have found that slowly revving it up
