I've just got a new set of wheels ... Some Super Incas. I've popped them on
the car this evening and they seem to be fine.

They came with 185/65 R15 ratio tyres and the wheel ratio is 15x5.5J ET40.
Yikes!  Puff o' smoke...30 Mar 2006 19:23 GMT11
1987, T16 Aero.
Coming up the motorway on Sunday I thought I noticed a "puff" of smoke from
my exhaust.  The only way I could reproduce it was thus...
1/  Floor it and get it flying, (80mph ish in fifth gear)

Reset little screen on 2003 Saab 9-330 Mar 2006 00:16 GMT5
Is there any way to reset the little screen on the dash? (Sorry, I just
got the car about a month ago and don't know the tech terms! :) When I
fill up with gas now - completely full - it says I have 124 miles until
empty, which I know isn't the case. Not the biggest problem in the
top leak29 Mar 2006 23:00 GMT1
I took a 91 900 for a test ride and found water on driver side floor and
about three inches of standing water in the boot. Owner claimed must have
got in there due to the storm. LOL. Are the convertible tops prone to leak?
If so where should I look? The top appeared to be in very ...
[Saab_c900] saab tool page updated29 Mar 2006 22:12 GMT16
Hi everyone, I've updated the Saab tool page today at
"http://lios.apana.org.au/~c900/tools.html" and added pictures of as many
of the tools as possible.
The main addition is to include reference to two slightly different oil
Resetting the month/date?29 Mar 2006 18:49 GMT1
I just had my car serviced which entailed disconnecting the battery
which in turn, set my date and time to 12:00 01 JAN on my 1999 Saab
9-3.
I know if I hold the hour button it will go back in time (dec 31, dec

Hi;
I just wanted to relay the events of the past few days regarding my pride &
joy - 2001 9-5 2.3t estate. Had it for just over a year and it's behaved
impeccably, a real joy to drive. However, on attempting to start the car on

boost gauges and calibration29 Mar 2006 06:58 GMT9
Since we're talking about turbo boost gauges, etc. and what happens when the
vacuum hose is not doing it's job, are the stock gauges that Saab puts into
the instrument clusters actually calibrated in a way that makes sense?
it's fine to say 'dont take it into the red' but that means ...
UK Saabers only28 Mar 2006 18:46 GMT34
Our beloved chancellor has anounced an increase in Vehicle Excise Duty
(tax disc to most!) for cars in bands F and G.
Does my beloved C900 and/or my beloved's 9000 Anni' fall fould of the
225g/km rule?  As I really think another £40 per vehicle is going to
1999 Saab 9-3 with ABS, Pkg Brake, and Chk Engine lights on28 Mar 2006 15:51 GMT4
I looked thru the old postings on this site and didn't find anything
related to my problem.  I have a 1999 Saab 9-3.  The  ABS, Parking
Brake, and Check Engine lights are all lite up, but only after the car
warms up (on a cold day, here in Colorado).  .  Otherwise, on warm days
Hibernated 900028 Mar 2006 00:13 GMT3
I have an '88 9000 Turbo that's been stored and covered in my garage for a
little over a year and a half now, unfortunately I've been out of the
country and it hadn't been started since being stored. My question is are
there any precautions I should take prior to starting her up ...
Dash Lights27 Mar 2006 14:39 GMT6
Occasionally in my 2001 93 the radio display on the SID goes dark (the
time, date and temperation info on the SID stays lit) as do all the
lights on the controls under the radio.  The radio still plays.  I
thought it was just the radio problem, but it happened at night for the
