| Any Tips For Removing Bolts From Manifold Header Pipe? | 27 Mar 2006 07:09 GMT | 5 |
Should I first spray them with WD40 (a day in advance) before I attempt to loosen them? Are the header bolts easy to break when they get old? This is regarding a '89 900 5-speed non-turbo. Thanks for any tips. Mark

| '99 9-5 Radio Fuse? | 25 Mar 2006 23:52 GMT | 1 |
Recently I had some electrical issues with my 1999 9-5 which resulted in the alternator dying and needing to be replaced. A number of fuses were blown at the same time, presumably by the alternator in its death throes. The battery was ok and did not need replacement.

| 2001 9-5 V6 3.0L - a good buy with GM engine? | 25 Mar 2006 21:06 GMT | 18 |
I need to know why it would be good or bad for me to pick up a 2001 9-5 with a V6 3.0L engine in it. I've read some of the posts here that mention some dislike for the GM engine, but I would like to know some specifics. Is it purely disdain for GM? Would having this engine keep

I've read a lot about this in the past few years here, seems that there is a good bit of apprehension abut the 3.0l V6 in a 9-5. I have to say that I never really paid a whole lot of attention. Turns out that the back posts aren't archived on my news server so I can't go look them ...
