| Maintenance Cost Per Mile | 22 Jul 2006 18:57 GMT | 4 |
Anyone ever break down your cost to maintain by the mile? I just did this for my 97 900S with 220,000 miles and I came up with 4.95 US cents per mile. If you do the math you will see that I spent nearly $11,000 USD on

| Air conditioner | 21 Jul 2006 17:20 GMT | 6 |
I have a 1999 Saab 9-3 and the A/C doesnt seem like it is as cool as it should be. The air pressure seems fine. Also, 1/2 of the speedometer is more dim than the other half....is this a simple bulb replacement? how much do these things cost to fix?

I purchased Pagid rear brake pads for my 2001 9-5 and was going to go to a mechanic to have them installed and he specifically said that pagid brake pads for the rear brakes always squeal. Is that really true, or is he trying to get me to buy his for more?

| 95 900s radio code | 19 Jul 2006 15:19 GMT | 1 |
I'm sure this has come up before...but here goes. My son somehow found that the radio in his 1995 900s was asking for a code. The radio had not been removed and the batter is in fine shape...and was not disconnected. He had been out of town for a few days, but it

| c900 inner driver size change? | 17 Jul 2006 23:43 GMT | 7 |
OK, so I'm replacing the left CV/driveshaft on my '85 Saab 900. Got the old one out without too much swearing and no blood. New one won't go in; turns out the outer races of the 3 needle bearings are about 2mm too large, as compared with the one that came out.

| How do I change our clock from 24 hour to 12 hour on a Saab 9000? | 17 Jul 2006 14:11 GMT | 5 |
Someone was messing around with my wife's clock on her 9000 CSE and set the clock into 24 hour mode. Now we can't figure out how to get it back to the 12 hour mode and we can't find how to do this in the owners manual either. Does anyone out there know how to do this?

I'm still new to this GM / Saab TiD engine, but yesterday I was feeling changes in engine behaviour (output) under acceleration. Some times I have plenty of acceleration, sometimes I have next to no acceleration :) and it was varying. This morning it was find...

| Window won't go up | 15 Jul 2006 21:21 GMT | 4 |
My rear passinger window won't go up. When I tried tonight, the vanity light in the back dimmed when I pushed the switch, but the window did not move. Does this mean the switch is good, but the motor is bad -- or the other way around? Is a fuse gone? Is this an expensive repair at ...

| 9-3 Turbo | 15 Jul 2006 13:41 GMT | 1 |
I have friend whose turbo is blown (diagnosed by main dealer - £800). Question is, how easy is it to replace? I have 25 years of mechanical experience, but local knowledge from a group like this is invaluable. I have no experience of this model, don't even know if the turbo's on ...
