I found a big puddle of anti-freeze under my 9-5 which has about 50,000
miles on the odometer. Took it into the shop where they found a cracked
heater valve. The mechanic told me that something like this shouldn't crack
after 50,000 miles and that I should call the manufacturer.

I have been driving and changing oil in C900 Turbos since 1994. They
recommend disabling the ignition and cranking the engine until the oil
pressure comes up before enabling the engine to start in order to
prevent damaging the turbo. It seems to take quite a while to get that

As you all know, pre 2001 9-5 do not have in dash turbo gauge.
Has anyone here fitted 9-5 Aero/ 2001 onwards 9-5 LPT dash to
'98-00 Car.
Does '98-00 ECU Support Turbo gauge?

Arrived at our destination, pressed the remote boot release - nothing
(except flashing indicators).
Pressed the button on the door - ditto.
Had to empty boot contents by folding down the back seats. Marvelous.

Whenever I switch off the engine and remove the key,I can hear a
whirring or clockwork sound which goes on for quite a while afterwards.
The noise comes from the lower part of the centre console. Anyone know
what is making this sound?

There are just some things that should never go together and this is one
