I need the drivers side (US) CV boot replaced on my 93 9000CSET. My regular mechanic charges $90. but he's away. Other shops want $200+! Can someone recommend a shop in NYC? Queens or Brooklyn would be most convenient. TNX

Is there any easy way to tell whether ones particular engine has this problem? And, if so, is there any way to fix it before the engine goes belly up?

Put some MV oil in your engine and ruin it forever. The lubricant for saps.....and fools.

Does anyone have one of the Saab 89 95 409 special press tool used for balljoint work on classic 900's? I already have one similar tool that I have used for steering tie-rod ends multiple times, but it doesn't work with the lower balljoints because there isn't enough clearance ...

I'm having a hard time finding a set of springs that don't lower the body an inch or more. I drive on dirt a bit and would like to find a set that's stiffer than stock but doesn't contribute to increased bottoming out when driving in ruts.

Help !! The hood on my 99 9-3 conv will not fold down without manual help. The problem is with the flap that flips up allowing thE hood to fold into the boot recess, the flap does not flip ! if you lift it by hand

I'm puzzled by the following: In the dutch SAABforum there is somebody offering 9000 CS model front indicators (the orange ones, so before 1995) that have on the corners an additional white section, that lights up with the backup lights, so when the car is put in reverse.

I recently removed the C-pillar trims to re-cover them. A fine job I did too, even if I do say so myself! (Photos of the whole job will follow...) However when replacing the seatbelt guide the threads stripped and I cant torque the bolt up to the required 33ftlb, no-where

There is a black 'quick-connect' type wire that became disconnected when I was changing the thermostat and now the temp gauge does not work. I have yet to locate any connection point to where this wire should connect to. Is this a ground wire? If any of you can help me out
