Is there any easy way to tell whether ones particular engine has this
problem?  And, if so, is there any way to fix it before the engine goes
belly up?

Does anyone have one of the Saab 89 95 409 special press tool used for

Springs - stiffer but not lower?19 Sep 2006 16:07 GMT1
I'm having a hard time finding a set of springs that don't lower the
body an inch or more.  I drive on dirt a bit and would like to find a
set that's stiffer than stock but doesn't contribute to increased
bottoming out when driving in ruts.

that no longer works so I'm thinking of putting the 94's 15" (x 6"?)
wheels on the 97 in winter with snow tires. I have a few questions
about this: (1) are the wheels compatible between these years? (2) is

I recently removed the C-pillar trims to re-cover them.  A fine job I
did too, even if I do say so myself!  (Photos of the whole job will
follow...)  However when replacing the seatbelt guide the threads
stripped and I cant torque the bolt up to the required 33ftlb, no-where
