I purchased my 9-3 conv. SE this past spring. Now that the cooler weather
has come on it has become stubborn to start in morning. It tends to cough,
sputter then die. Several attempts are required before it remains running.
Once running it runs fine with no coughing are ...

hard starting 900030 Oct 2006 16:41 GMT2
Hi Group,
My wife has a 1996 9000 non turbo. It has to crank extra long, between
6-10 seconds, before starting. This is constant, hot or cold. Winter is
almost here and such a drain might create problems. Is it possible that

Valet Key27 Oct 2006 21:54 GMT4
I have a 2003 95.  Is a valet key available?  I asked my local dealer and
they said no, however I find that hard to believe.  Any ideas as to how I
would go about getting one?

I have a SAAB 900 SE convertible turbo. car acts as if it is missing on a

problem disappears. the car has had a full service so the normal causes have
been eliminated.

2004 9-3 rear brake squeal when rolling backward25 Oct 2006 18:42 GMT2
A friend of mine (who i often ride with) has a 2004 Saab 9-3 (the
middle one -- Linear?).  One vexing problem she has had for some months
now is that the rear brakes squeal during low speed stops, but ONLY
when the car is rolling backwards. The dealer has been unable to find a
Saab Pricing for '07 models + Return of old 900 (sorta)25 Oct 2006 06:13 GMT1
This is from September:
According to Saab USA, the company's products fit squarely in the

prices starting at $26,915, luxury is a lot more affordable than it used
1999 Saab 9-5 Throttle Body failure24 Oct 2006 07:21 GMT2
I have a 1999 9-5 2.3 4-cylinder that came up with a check engine light
at 100K. I pulled the codes with an OBD II which it came up with three

mean, and the mechanic said it was a throttle body failure. I found a

Anybody have a list of the tire sizes appropriate for the c900?
I am looking for the best value for tires and I cannot get an exact answer
from most online dealers about the size my car uses. If the car is older
than 10 years they just don't seem to care- they just give you the ...
Shell V-Power Opinions22 Oct 2006 19:41 GMT3
We, in the UK, are now the happy recipients of shell V-Power, a high octane
fuel rated to 99 RON. I am interested to hear people's opinions of this
fuel, particularly from fellow CIS system pilots!
I filled up with V-Power and found that I was unable to make more than basic
'93 9000 Aero misfire...22 Oct 2006 17:10 GMT12
I have a'93 9000 Aero with about 130,000 miles on the clock.  If I
accelerate hard the car seems to misfire violently at about 3500 - 4000rpm.
This just happens for an instant and then it carries on accelerating hard as
it should.
