I just bought a used 9-5, the radio worked but apparently the battery was replaced and the changer did not work. Works fine now. I just paid $50 to get my CD-Changer married to my dash unit. I'm told (By the dealer) that anytime my battery dies or is disconnected, I need to get

My kid is looking at purchasing an '89 900 S. The car looks good, it's in good shape and owned by a trusted friend, so there's nothing obvious wrong with it. 114k miles. What would you say about putting a 16 year old in one of these? What do I need to know

Its very hard to find information on this car. I own a 93 saab 9000 and want to install my aftermarket pionner cd player in the dash. The stock tape deck plugs directly into the car with no wires and i cant find an adapter anywhere! If anyone can offer help with this install and/or ...

I have a 2000 9-5 with ABS. My passenger side rear brake froze, only when I drove forward, (the tire rotates when I back up), I sat, let the car run and then it drove for a bit and then locked up again. It was about 25 degrees and I put the parking brake on while I was parked.

I replaced the bulb, but the trunk lighting still doesn't work. The fuse responsible for the trunk light should be OK, for everything else is working fine. Any idea what can be wrong? It's really annoying. Tks & rgds

I have estimates from 2 shops both about $1600 for the front lower Control arms to be replaced. It is a 1997 900 Turbo SE Manual with 107k miles on it and fun to drive. bought it from a friend for $3500. Should I go ahead and replace these or try to sell it?

Hi everyone, my automatic 1999 9-5 2.3 lpt makes a roaring sound b/w 30 and 40 mph. it didn't make that sound before. the noise doesn't seem to be coming from any side of the car in particular, and the muffler was replaced a few months ago. it really sounds more like a "wooooo"

My SAAB 900 Aero 98 has an electrical problem that I've heard is quite common. I have had to take the fuse out to prvent the brake lights from remaining on, even when the car is not running and the key is back to the first position). I heard something really technical about wiring

Does anyone of you know how to find a second hand carburator for my Saab 900 C from '88? I googles already and looked at ebay and so on but nothing... I did find a dealer who has a new Pierburg for 150 Euros. Is that a lot? Or can I find a second hand much cheaper?
