cover out, the speaker covers and the rear parcel shelf out ... All for
re-covering.
This project has been coming up for some time and finally come to a head. I

SAAB and gas quality25 Feb 2007 20:10 GMT2
Assuming you are using the recommended octane rating, has anyone noticed if
their SAAB is particularly sensitive to certain brands of gasoline? I have a
9-5 v6, and I think it runs better on Shell....but this might be pure
fantasy on my part.
1990 900Turbo - Q re Fuel pump relay & ECU25 Feb 2007 17:43 GMT2
Having always started first pull, every time for 17 years even in
Switzerland in winter, today it didn't!  No hum or tick from fuel pump.
RAC (AAA, etc) came out, worked hard, and found the following:
- Fuel pump ok (by powering fuse point, pump worked and car started)

9-5 2.3lpt misbehaving24 Feb 2007 00:09 GMT10
My 9-5 isn't happy.  This morning I got 1/2 mile down the road, check
engine light came on, and it was dead.  Rolled into my parents' driveway
and parked.  Classic DI cassette symptoms, right mileage (92K), so I
bought a new one and installed it.  Wouldn't start.  Disconnected
Seat release sticking - Saab 900 '96 3 door23 Feb 2007 19:00 GMT1
I've got a '96 900 3-door and the release locks on both front seats
are sticking preventing the seats from being easily folded forwards to
allow access to the back seats. How easy is it to get to the release
cable/linkages in the seats to adjust them and has anyone else done
Rear seatback hinge22 Feb 2007 18:36 GMT8
I managed to bend the hinge pivot on the seat back
of a `85 4-door.  [We don't discuss how this happened.]
There's a somewhat thick sheet metal strip along the
bottom of the seatback that holds the pivot and this
9.3 Sunroof22 Feb 2007 01:08 GMT2
I have a 2006 9.3 Aero (Australian). Lately the sunroof has started a
life of its own. Sometimes the switch won't move it (sometimes I hear a
click). Sometimes it will let me get it to the rear lifted up setting
but then when I press the switch forward to close it, it will close, ...

Reverse: the curse?20 Feb 2007 02:04 GMT2
I think I know the answer already, but..
My 1992 Saab Turbo Convertible has just a tad reverse left. I'm fine when
I park on a hill or straight. But any kind of decline, and I'm walking
home. Is there any way to fix reverse -- even half fixed I could live with
