The last time I had this happen was on my 87 9000  & it was due to a
worn ball joint. I jacked up the front end of the 900 & both wheels
felt tight so I'm wondering what else could cause the random pulling.

The boot lid of my 9000 (hatch back) squeaks quite badly when I open it
or close it.  Tried spraying some oil (WD40) in the hinges but it made
no difference.  So I am left with the rubber seals (and given the
loudness it has to be the seals).

I've wondered this for a while now.
