I have a 97 900S with about 235K miles. Had a few unexpected repairs
with this car but overall its been pretty reliable.
I am now in the market for another Saab. I am looking at a 9-3

My throttle body assembly is going dodgy on my '99 9-5 2.3l LPT engine.
I'd love to get one that's been replaced, so I can dissect it and see
what sorts of things have gone wrong with a failed one.  If I'm lucky
maybe I'll see a root cause and a fix-able problem.  Anyone replace one

How often do 9-5 v6 owners change their oil, transmission fluid, brake
fluid, and coolant?  I adhere to the old 3000 mile or 3 month oil/filter
change. Transmission fluid- every 6000 miles. Coolant- once a year.  I use
SAAB approved everything...Not sure if this is a sensible ...

hooting.  I see vendors selling "upgraded" versions of same - do they
really do anything or should I just buy a stock replacement part?  If I
can get some HP out of the deal I'm all for it.

Oil line hose connector going to top of oil cooler that is attached to
passenger side of radiator leaks like a sieve...  No longer available at
dealer.  How can I repair to stop oil leaking down hose and on to

Well, I was on the highway in Sport mode and the Check Engine light
appeared.  The car starts and runs fine.  Is this an emergency?  I'd
prefer to leave it with my mechanic but won't have a few extra days
