oops. what happens when a door is bent back waaaay too far!29 Jul 2007 22:17 GMT14
My wife took my red 89 16V c900 3-door out the other day and managed to
reverse it with the door open into the bullbar of a 4wd, wrenching the
door of my car back and ruining the door mount, etc. at the bottom of the
A-pillar! She claims she put her foot on the go peddle instead ...
Saab 93 ignition problem...29 Jul 2007 06:43 GMT2
I have a 2002 Saab 93 Aero HOT convertible that I have only had for a
couple of months. 2 weeks after purchasing it I started having a problem
with the ignition. On the first occasion after driving it for some 10
miles I stopped for 10 minutes having left the car locked. When I ...
How to Program a New Remote for my 1997 900SE Convertible 2.0 L Turbo28 Jul 2007 22:00 GMT3
I just bought a 1997 Saab 900SE Convertible 2.0 L Turbo, which came
with one key and one remote.  I bought a couple of remotes and a
couple of keys, but have been told that you have to take the car to
the dealer to get them programmed.  Is this true?  If it is, how much
1988 900 non turbo missing exhaust stud28 Jul 2007 00:08 GMT4
Missing stud and nut on exhaust manifold pipe that connects to exhaust
pipe going under car.  Anyone know the thread sizes for a
replacement.  Would consider using a bolt if I cannot find replacement
stud.  Any ideas?
Okay, So I'm Dumb.....27 Jul 2007 22:35 GMT5
Stupid. "Why won't my keyless entry work?" New battery in the remote?
DUH!! Helps to have the correct batteries. Note to self: Just because
it lights up, doesn't mean it works. :)
Now, I've found a lovely 1985 Saab for sale ($500) and I love it!
engine light and ignition issues25 Jul 2007 20:21 GMT5
I just purchased my first Saab.  It is a 2002 9-5 Linear sedan with
about 70k miles.  I love the car, however, the second day I owned it I
started having a couple of issues with it.  I hope you all can give me
some insight.
Gas Tank Strap Failure - 1996 SAAB 9000 CS25 Jul 2007 13:31 GMT7
Good Morning,
Has anyone experienced the complete rustout/failure of the gas tank strap on
the passenger side of the car ?
Is this a common problem on North American SAAB 9000's ?
My left leg gets a workout24 Jul 2007 00:12 GMT11
Greetings fellow Saabophiles,
I have a 1995 900S with a very heavy clutch (much harder to press than
the clutch in my wife's car, also a 1995 900S).
Obviously, there is a spring against which I am pushing.  Where is this

Key stuck in ignition - Quick Fix?22 Jul 2007 16:06 GMT1
Can't remove the key from my 1997 900 convertible 5 speed manual. Fiddled
with the reverse, ignition, etc. Happened once before but it fixed itself
after a few days. Going on several weeks now having to use a separate key to
lock doors. Kind of risky when the top is down. Anyone ...
81 900T woes22 Jul 2007 01:03 GMT7
The trusty old 81 900T auto sedan failed to proceed for the first time in
over three years. Started on 3 cylinders, ran for 300M and cut out
completely half way round a roundabout. Coasted off. Turned over but no
interest in firing, except occasionally on one cylinder. Plenty fuel &
opening rear seat in 81 turbo c900 when there's no pull-handle!21 Jul 2007 16:35 GMT3
In order to fully trace the wiring run for the fuel sender I'm trying to
get the back seat slid forward and tilted up, but the seat has no
pull-handle to release the latch like all my other 900's have. Was the
rear seat latch setup different in the really early 900's?
Lucas C900 LPT - Stabilising the idle and fuelling18 Jul 2007 18:44 GMT1
Hi guys! My Mrs' 1992 C900 LPT has been running swimmingly until recently.
It popped a manifold plug out, which has now been replaced, as have the
other two, along with all the vacuum pipes and the failed dump valve.
Before I changed the vacuum pipes over, I attached a pressure ...
