It's getting chilly again and I thought it might be time to investigate my non-functional heated rear screen and mirrors. An obvious suspect would be the timed relay. The Haynes manual talks of removing the entire fascia but hopefully there's an easier way to get to them ?

Has anyone replaced the front windscreen? It seems like the gasket is holding it in place like a VW Bus I used to own. I have the windshield but finding a costly challenge to replace.
