1. Got used driving a manual again.

working, and the headlight pictograms out.

Question of the Day: Would You Recommend the Volvo V70 or the Saab 9-5 Wagon?30 Mar 2008 17:19 GMT1
We were so thrilled to open our inbox and find a wagon question waiting for us. With very few automakers venturing into wagon terrain these days, it gives us a chance to flex our underutilized wagon-knowledge muscle. In this case,...

suggestions29 Mar 2008 23:40 GMT5
ack.  The road salt has eaten my C900 ragtop and it's time to reload with
another convertible. I live in Northeast Ohio USA.  Anyone have a suggestion
for a replacement?  I've looked at NG 900's and they look decidedly
effeminate.  I like the looks of the TT's, but they're not ...
Theft Alarm27 Mar 2008 21:41 GMT5
I have a 2000 95 SE (V6) - it's what we in the states would call a station
wagon.  Auto has 90k miles.  I am original owner, all periodic maintenance
done at the dealer.
I just had the 90k mile service performed.
New owner - first questions27 Mar 2008 02:12 GMT23
I just bought my first Saab - '08 9-3 2.0 sedan (auto, although I'd
prefer manual). Love the handling, interior space (size considered)
and the workmanship, for most part, seems very good (a bit too much of
plain black plastic in the middle of dashboard, looks cheap compared
Saab launches Pure BioPower Eco Clothing Collection25 Mar 2008 00:50 GMT8
Saab has embraced E85 as an alternative fuel in Europe as a way to offer good performance and relatively good emissions using small turbocharged engines. Because ethanol has a higher octane rating than gasoline, boost pressure can be raised, allowing for a higher specific power ...
Need help with 2003 9-5 Aero24 Mar 2008 14:55 GMT6
I want to buy a 2003 9-5 Aero. The vehicle started very rough and it
stalled. I started it again and needed to hold my foot on the gas pedal
in order to keep it running. What may be the problem?
Badges and Protection21 Mar 2008 04:34 GMT19
I have a 2005 9-3 Linear and the badge on the vehicle's trunk has been
damaged and is now off the car. Is this bad for the vehicle? I notice
two holes where the badge fits in, but I can't determine if inside these
holes the car may be susceptible to damage from moisture or the like?
Remote "Blipper" Problem17 Mar 2008 18:53 GMT6
Proud owner of a 9-5, but i have a couple of questions relating to the "blipper"
Just today i started the car, and it went through the usual "Test Brake Lights" spiel, and i was expecting the milage left til empty
to come up.
But instead of THAT, i got a "Change Key Battery" ...
vandalism16 Mar 2008 21:33 GMT1
woke up to find some degenerate has snapped off my rear wiper leaving me
with just the bolt...bastards.
Has anyone replaced this on an w reg 9-3 HOT aero? I'm assuming it's cheaper
to get a second hand arm and a new blade?
Window Switches Not Working16 Mar 2008 04:46 GMT3
I have a '94 Turbo Convertible and the four window switches do
not work all the time.  It seems if you play with them or keep hitting them,
they will down the windows and sometimes they won't.  Is there, perhaps,
some way of cleaning the contacts?  The motors seem to be good but I ...
Looks like I'm going to pick a 9000 Aero tomorrow.14 Mar 2008 21:07 GMT26
A 1993 Lplate that was on Ebay. My bid went in to late and I missed it.
But I contacted the seller and explained and said if the winner backs
out I'll match it.
He is emigrating to Australia on Saturday and needs to shift it.
hesitation when cold14 Mar 2008 20:19 GMT7
My 1993 9000 cse 2.0 lpt has stated not firing on all cylinders immediately
after a starting in the morning. It takes about a mile to get it going
normally. DI replaced just one month ago, spark plugs and air filter
replaced only 4 months ago. So what could be the problem?
Rear wiper arm '95 900S11 Mar 2008 02:08 GMT1
Without any evident cause, my rear windshield wiper arm stopped
working and the arm just sort of flops around.  I thought that
jiggling it by hand might reengage it, but it had no effect.  Does
anyone know if there's a simple fix (e.g., a shear-pin or breakaway
