Hello! I have a 2002 Saab 9-3 SE. This spring (2008) I brought my car into fix the driver’s door lock switch. A few weeks later I put my key in the ignition and it did not start. I brought my car to my Saab dealer and they replaced ING switch and ING lock cylinder. A few weeks

| Catalytic Converter | 28 Sep 2008 07:39 GMT | 9 |
Apparently a failing DI cassette fouled my catalytic converter ( 2001 9-5 SE) and the engine check light stays on because " the oxygen sensors are getting a wrong reading" ( from dealer). Service manager quotes about $1100 plus to replace, however feels I can continue to

| HELP - transmission trouble | 23 Sep 2008 13:39 GMT | 2 |
I have a 93 900 turbo w/5 speed tranny. It has started acting up. It operates great at highway speeds, but when stopping and trying to back up it binds up and the shifter is hard to move. What could this be? Is it the tranny or the CV joint? Looking for any ideas...

I can not get the cruise control to engage. The pages discusing CC on the manual which came with the car are missing. Is there a trick to getting the CC to engage in a highway or there might be some problems? everything else works great.

I've driven nothing but SAAB's for the last 15 years, loved all of them, mostly 4 cylinder turbos except for the '93 9000 cse. We're looking for a second car, don't have much to spend, maybe $7000. I found a few 9-5's for sale, '99-2002, all under 100,000 miles, clean, clean ...

| Ethanol Causing "Check Engine" Light? | 11 Sep 2008 19:24 GMT | 7 |
My '02 9-5 Aero hiccuped while heading up a fairly hilly hill the other week, in fourth gear I think I was, after which the Check Engine light immediately came on. Stayed on for a day or so, and then went away. I called the dealer who said that it's almost certainly ethanol

| Can I "Change Key Battery" Myself? | 08 Sep 2008 19:33 GMT | 3 |
I'm not being cheap, exactly, but I hate the idea of wasting the three hours of time and the equivalent amount in gas that the round trip drive to the dealer would entail. My '02 9-5 Aero's key needs a new battery and I see no way of getting into the key to change it myself.

| Fog light relay...98 900se | 08 Sep 2008 13:12 GMT | 1 |
Does any one know the proper process for checking to see if the "relay" is bad on my fog lights? Some one told me to pop off the actual button and test the contacts behind it? Or test it by the wires on the fog light itself.
