Theatre dimming of interior lights30 Nov 2008 19:53 GMT4
I would like to add theatre dimming to the interior lights of my 1992
C900 convertible (together with courtesy lights in the front foot
wells - can't think why there aren't any!).
At present the lights are shut off by a time delay relay, made I
C900 Conv 1992 -  what's the tank in the spare wheel well?30 Nov 2008 03:41 GMT8
There's a white plastic tank attached in the bottom of the spare wheel
well, looks like it could be a vacuum tank. Bentley is silent on it.
Anyone know for sure?
How many lines would normally connect to it if it is a vacuum tank?
1988 900C Fuel Leak Top of the Engine18 Nov 2008 17:17 GMT1
I have punctured the line from top of the engine which looks like a
fuel pump to the fuel distributor (next to the air cleaner).  This
line is "Y" connected to distributor and goes to the left fender
attached to some controler and more fuel line.  What is the name of
Getting the glass out of the outside mirror17 Nov 2008 07:34 GMT3
Re: 1993 900 turbo convertible, driver's side electric mirror
Somehow the glass has become is misaligned in the holder, so that even

88 clutch slave replacement problem missing part16 Nov 2008 09:52 GMT1
After replacing clutch slave while putting it back together I lost the
plastic screw that goes on the clutch shaft(?).  Is this vital and can
it be replaced with something from the auto parts store cheaply?
Obviously it is 8M 1.25.  Is it necessary at all? Thanks...
transmission-to-engine bolts- thread sealer?09 Nov 2008 15:06 GMT1
I'm in the process of replacing the transmission on my 1992 900 (2.1L NA). I
put the engine block onto a rebuilt transmission with the gasket and Permatex
Ultra-blue (as per Bentley manual), and torqued the bolts to spec. But now I've
realized that I used thread locker instead of ...
towing a saab 9-304 Nov 2008 20:50 GMT2
hello, i'm guessing that its NOT possible to tow a Saab 9-3 w/
automatic transmission behind my RV, at least not without a tow
dolly.  I had a Nissan which i could tow with a simple tow bar, with
all 4 wheels on the ground.  But with the Saab (w/ auto transmission),
1988 900 C Clutch Pedal No Pressure03 Nov 2008 23:34 GMT2
Clutch worked fine Friday night.  This morning pushed clutch pedal
went straight to the floor no resistance.  Felt like a broken cable.
What are the obvious things to check?  I need to do quickly, its
getting dark early here in Seattle.  Thanks,
